when you log in there is 3 indavidial windows. the large one is the chat one where everyone talks and stuff on the left on the bottom is the list of rooms. on the top left is the list of games rooms you can enter ones that have a yellow button that i supposed to represent a ladder. if you enter games with a ladder next to the name your kills and deaths will be counted and you get a 10 points for a kill and -3 points when you die. or something to that effect.

Get more points than -20. You level up the first time at 1000 points

You kill people, you gain points. GREAT JOB!
You die, you lose points. Not so great.
