So, I've been wondering, which do you think is better, PC or a Mac. :\ please put why, and if you have a Mac, say yo uhave one, and if you have a PC say you have a PC :P

Mac's have better quality, and you cant argue that. most large buisness in america use Macs, even the school are turning over to them. but the PC is easier to use and more simple thats why i prefer the PC

Okay for you guys saying that Macs are harder, you are wrong, You just don;t know how to use them.. If any of you try and learn flash, most of you wills ay it is hard, but I bet twenty bucks that blank says it is easy, since he is FAMILIAR with it.

Macs don't suck, the G4 processors is far more evolutionized than then pentium has, up until the Cell Processor that is which is the most powerful advance chip on the market. Think of the cell like a dual core on sasteroids where its quadruple the power of the most powerful pentium, besides the pentium five which is canceled... Anyway..

Macs are far superior than PC's. Windows Vista, 99.9 % of every "Funtion" "extra" "Software" "design" etc was TAKEN from mac OS 10.

Every hardware works with a max os X! Printers, cameras, etc EVERYTHING.

Games dont work on MAc because DEVS dont MAKE them for MAC because they know MOST people OWN and PERFER PC"S because it is a MONOPOLY.

Get over it, Linux/Mac will always be the bigger, better, and hidden OS no one will know how to take full power..

Ok here is what i think

PC:They are cool because evrything is compatible with it and it's easy to use but what i hate about Vista (Microsoft's new computer) is that it's slower. Workers use PCs but the bad problem is that it gets viruses like where ever you go.

MAC:I like Macs they're pretty and you can put a dog as a wallpaper but you can't play any games on it like Half-Life or whatever and you need to download extra stuff to download. Also about Macs are if you break something like keyboards, the screen thingy, etc... it's hard to find and exspensive.

But overall I don't care. I would stick with a PC becasue I don't know how to use a MAC. =P

Heres my reasoning:
Mac is just a snooty pretty-boy computer, with its expensive commercials etc, while PC, is Pwning all with computer games.

My view on alien and linux: to tell the truth, ive never even heard of a linux until i started playing pawn, which i still dont really care for much anyways, and if i was filthy rich i would propably love alien ware but its just too damn expensive.

i NEVER experience client side lag on my mac as compared to a piece o crap pc, which always crashes and gets viruses

theres another thing, macs dont get viruses, isnt that just awesome? you dont need to download 500 spyware programs, reformat your computer 10 times, take your computer to a technician or ANYTHING like that because macs are just great like that

also, to the people talking about gaming
guess what

i play counter-strike, battlefield 1942, half-life, half-life2, day of defeat, capture the flag and more ALL on my mac

if you think a mac is slow, guess what, i play cs 1.6 on 80 fps on any average server which is about 40 more fps than normal pc's get

downloading... so simple, it takes me about 5 seconds to download, you dont have to have any tutorials or download any extra files to run things, for example people that have macs here and used IRCLE for mirc, all you had to do was download the file(which takes 10 seconds) and open the program. no agreement terms, no "do you want to install this file?" etc etc, its the simplest computer ive ever used

i grew up on pc's, started using a computer around age 8 and am now 17, got my mac last year and im never looking back

I'm into both PCs and Macs.
I use my PC to play games and stuff. Why? Because its better.
I use my Mac for multimedia stuff... Video and photo editing, mostly. Why? Because its better.
Macs and PCs both have their respective strong points. If a computer comes out that shows traits of both Macs and PCs, I'll get one of those.

You could buy a Mac Laptop with 17", 2ghz Intel Core Duo, 100gb hd and 2gb memory for $3,000

But I can buy a PC with more USB ports, a Lightsribe CD burner, TV tuner, 200gb hardrive, Intel Core Duo and 17" for only $1,800

my mac has 7 usb ports
232.57 gb hd, 17", intel core duo and graphics look about as smooth/crisp as on my HD plasma tv
it was $2000 last year when first made, think its at $1600 or so now

I like pc's better but mac got better laptops, their desktops suck. My school has like 900 mac laptop and they own but pc's are better in desktops.

I like pc better for playing pawn because the mac scroll mouse button don't work to change guns. and sketchez mac do have a right click its crtl + another button on keyboard.

I have a mac laptop and a pc desktop, and personally I prefer PC's as most programs are made for them, and honestly I don't give a crap if macs can run windows xp pro, you need to partition the hard drive for that, so you might as well have bought a pc.

To me macs look too picturey like its for people who are normally scared of computers, and just want big icons to see whats going on, some call it being intuitive I call it not showing me what is going on under the hood.

Macs have a lot of programs but people don't know about it because you need to pay for them. its not like pc you can download it anywhere. I know all the programs because my school got all the download cds. And you can just use a program that cost like $350 called virtual pc and when u click on the icon it will start windows so it means u would have both a mac and windows.
