The splat effects are well-timed but too fast, add a second frame to them so that the added frame comes before the original frame.

i can actually comment on this one, here are some tips:

1) reduce the thickness of speedlines and make them longer as well.
2) bullets shouldn't be visible. they should just have the flash in front of the gun or a thin line run all the way across the screen, like they do in pawn.
3) gunshots need blood that dissapates into the air.

Umm...that blood isn't the best.I made my own blood, it works better. I sometimes use other peoples blood, but having that .stk you are using, its only for a wall really...

I think that I have better blood making than that :| and like grench said.. the bullets should be either just shot and vanished (LIKE THE SPEED and make the thickness smaller if u make a line like that) :D

secondary tip: use dark red as blood. it doesn't blind so much.
