Specializing
============
Now that you are a decent player, and have learned the basics, you may want to try being better at a certain thing. A lot of people want to be known for something, but don’t know what. Here are a few options:
1 on 1s
Desert Eagle
Railgun (protogun)
Abrahm
Any other gun
Dodging
Aiming
Long-Range Combat (LRC)
Close-Range Combat (CRC)
Ranking
Map Making
Now I will give you a few tips on how to train on the above.

1 on 1s
=======
For this, you want to only 1 on 1 people, if you want to gain rank do ladder matches. You can get really good at the art of 1 on 1'ing.

Desert Eagle
============
This gun is devastating (if you know how to use it) and low cost. But most don’t know how to use it. Most people hold down the mouse and fire away, doing this will ruin you and you will most likely be killed by someone rushing you. Instead of holding your mouse button down, actually try taking time to aim. Once you think your shot will hit the opponents head, fire it! Being able to feel when your opponent is in an easy-to-hit position can be hard, try luring him to a flat spot, with not much cover or vary in terrain.

Railgun
=======
For this gun, you want to know where the enemy is, without them having much chance to shoot you. This is the ONLY gun with 100% accuracy, and now it does 50 damage! But its set back is its speed and ammo. You normally want to peep over a box to know where people are, then you fire where you think they will be at the time of you firing. Don’t be afraid to take your time aiming, every shot counts with this gun.

Abrahm L2K
==========
For this gun, you normally want some cover near you. This doesn’t require as much aiming, but if you miss, it is quite bad. You normally want to have something near you to corner with (look at IAAW's guide to know what cornering is). But it is okay at times to rush with, but don’t take on 5 people with it. Watch your ammo on this gun too, it may run out before you know it.

Long-Range Combat

For this, use only LRC-type guns and use the tactics I will teach you later in the guide (in advanced tactics).

If you want a high rank, simply do whatever to try and get yourself kills as fast as possible. If a match doesn’t give you good kills, then find one that does. (this one I wouldn’t suggest getting, the skull isn’t all the great and it gets old)

For this, simply spend all of your time on making maps and testing them, you may need more than one account for maps.

Advanced Tactics
================

Know Your Weapons
=================
Okay, when you choose a weapon, make sure you know what you’re going to do with it. If it is a rather close range map, use a CRC-type gun, if it isn’t, try an L85A1 or something. You also need to know the gun you’re facing against and its weaknesses and strengths. Say if you are facing a gun with 2.5 or less range (see IAAW's guide) then try facing it with a LRC-type gun (2.0 or lower). Here is an example:
You're in a 1 on 1 match, the person who just killed you killed you with a p90. (p90 = 3.0). Now p90 is a great CRC-type gun, and still decent long range. You want to either 1: beat it at close range, or 2: beat it at long range. I HIGHLY suggest 2, it will miss you quite a bit at long range, but if you have an L85A1, or a G36C or something, and you stay far from it, you have more chances of winning. It also works the other way, if you opponent has a railgun, or M29, (both really accurate) try rushing it with a p90 or ak47. If you don’t know what the opponent has, simply get the best CRC or LRC-type gun you can buy, and rush people (Or vice versa). To rush, means simply stay as close to the target as you can (to me at least) so try doing so. Do the opposite of you have gun like an L85A1 or something. Stay as far away from target as possible. If they have the same gun as you, do whatever. I suggest you not try getting the same gun as your opponent. It is good to beat him in skill, and in tactics. Also, if you did really good with a gun one life, use it again! But if you are sucking with a weapon, change it!

Shotgun/Machine Gun Tactic
==========================
For this tactic, I highly suggest you have a scroll wheel. For this, you use a machine gun (any machine gun) and weaken a target, and when the timing is right, switch to a shotgun with scroll wheel and finish the person off (also works with protogun instead of shotgun, or pistol instead of machinegun) This tactic works best with p90/abrahm (if you have 39 kill coins) or even Ak-47/abrahm. You can make your own combos for this.

Advanced Camping
================
For this, confuse the opponent. Switch camping spots every death, but only switch when you know he cannot see you on his death screen. Also, duck or jump around in your hiding place (if you can without revealing your spot) and don’t use the typical camping places where you are obvious.

Analyze
=======
This tactic can be used when facing any opponent. For this tactic, you figure out your enemies. Try to do it quickly when you join a game, you should normally be able to after 2 deaths. Just ask yourself these questions about each individual:
Does he prefer long range or close range?
Is he good at dodging?
Is he good at aiming?
Is he likely to do bold moves?
Is he likely to camp?
The answers to each question will help you learn a basic strategy on how to kill that person.

Guide to Headshots
==================
Now, headshots can be different with every gun, for some you aim directly for head, for some you don't, I will go over what to do for which guns:
L85A1, Protogun, all pistols, and M-29: aim directly for head if playing against a newbie, aim a little above playing a decent player.
SMGs: For these, aim at the top of the head when playing anyone who dodges decently, and at bottom if they don't.
AK-47: Aim at bottom of head. (Near the neck area.)
G36C: Aim at around the visor area of the ememy's head/helmet.
Shotguns: Aim at the neck region, or a lil' bit lower (don't go for a headshot on these, just make sure as many spread bullets hit as possible)
MK11: Aim for the neck region.
Colt M4: Aim for the lower part of the head. (Somewhere a lil' higher than the neck region).

Dodging tips
============
To throw off good players, duck while you dodge. Another tactic is to jump around crazily, then all of a sudden duck for a little, this throw's peoples' accuracy off.

Outnumbered tactics
==============
If you are outnumbers (2 on 1, 3 on 1, 3 on 2, ect..) a good tactic is to try separating them. To do this, let one of them see you for a secound, then run. Keep doing this until you are alone with one of them. Then attack. it is a lot easier to take 1 guy at once then 2 or 3 or more at once. also, you can some times buy a refill after killing one of them.

-Kimber.45: The starting weapon has ifinite ammo it can be quite deadly but to make it deadly you have to aim for the head and be quick about it.
-DesertEagle: this weapon is the most deadly pistol this weapon only has 10 shots but it has one hit headshot kills.
-USPAutomatic: This weapon is the second most deadly of the pistols it fires the fastest but it is not as strong as the other pistols.
-Kimber.45Suppressed: This weapon is a silencer pistol it is good for sneak attacks.
=SMGs=: These weapons are machineguns get a distance and aim at the neck when using these.
-UMP: This weapon is best for close range combat so it is most deadly up close.
-MP5: This weapon is good for all but it doesn't mean its perfect get some distance when using this.
-Mac11: This weapon is the basic SMG it is a decent weapon.
-P90: This weapon is the best SMG it is really fast and best at close range combat.
-Mac11Suppressed: This is the silenced version of the mac11 basicly use all silenced weapons for sneak attacks.
=AUTOs=: Most of these weapons have a fast fire rate you should aim for the neck with most of these weapons.
-ColtM4: This Weapon is a slow automatic but it is still deadly it is effective at a distance.
-AK47: This is one of the most deadly automatics it is very durable.
-G36C: This weapon is the fastest automatic with its speed it is a dangerous weapon.
-L85A1: This weapon is a very accurate weapon it is a rifle and capable of one hit kills only with headshots aim for the head with this weapon.
=SHOTGUNs=: These weapons are powerful use at close range and try drop down attacks these are capable of one hit kills aim at stomach with these.
-AbrahmL2K: This weapon is the best shotgun it is stronger and has a faster firerate then the other one.
-Benelli12Guage: This weapon has a slightly slower firerate then the Abrahm but a good early weapon.
=HEAVYs=: These weapons are some of the most powerful weapons in the game 2 are capable of one hit kills.
-M29OICW: Probly the most chosen heavy weapon this weapon is capable of one hit kills it has sorta fast firerate aim for head with this weapon.
-MK48: This weapon has a very fast firerate alot of ammo and can kill opponents in a matter of seconds aim for neck.
-MK1Protogun- This weapon is very unique it is able to fire through walls capable of one hit kills but has slow firerate only six shots but still very deadly you want to keep moving with this and peek around to see where enemy is aim for head with this.
