I've been putting this on Custom games for a while, and people are loving it. It's my first map, so I'm completely open to criticism (constructive, mind you) and compliments alike. Its name is "Despair Below" because of the despair the underground tunnel brings to both teams (the way to the artifact for Defence, and the trap for Offense). Please play and rate. Thanks!

Here's an updated map-editor view of the map. Some things (the way into the passage, for one) cannot be seen.

I added some things, such as:

*A new, harder jump (including a trap) for the trapping reds. Nothing too hard though
*The blues lost a spawn that was too far away, and I moved a far away spawn that now lets them take full advantage of the trap
*Removed the ledge that reds could use to get a cheap shot at the artifact
*Added a little fall-in pit on the red side, used for escaping from battle right to an Ammo Box
*Decorated a little

Anyways, it's a small map, but because of the two seperated sections, it can easily hold 10 people.

the gap on the bottom left of the screen shouldnt exist...you fail to make the jump and you are stuck there
And it seems too open for an assault map, looks more like a Deathmatch map
Assault maps are tight and deadly

The point I have that there is because without it, it's too easy to get to the other base.

BTW: I acknowledge that, and mine is tight and deadly because it mostly focuses on that tunnel, but I have the open spaces in case the Blue's decide to camp, or its very crowded.

That doesnt mean anything...make the tunnel smaller then so you have to crawl but if you have a gap where if you fall in and you cant get out people will hate you for it and give bad thoughts after playing the map.
and the tunnel isnt the only way to get to the artifact. you can simply get a protogun and fire at it from below next to the ammo crate

if it wasent a firsty map i would give it a 2/10..but since it is ur first map..4/10...the gamelplay in this map aint that great:rolleyes::rolleyes:
