It just came to me. I was trying to message a "friend" but he was not responding he was posting on the forums. So please take into consideration maybe putting in a noise so the person will know that someone has messaged them. please that would be nice.

That would freak out some people. There already is a pop-up alert feature which I think is on by defaut. This meaning, there's no need to annoy people with strange sounds.
