ever since the new update pawn has bee laggy for me and others say it too
I wanna know why, and i want it to go away
If it is the new update, i rather have un-lagged pawn than the update.

hey maybe the admins could let the host set a ping cap for ladder games so that the people on the laggy computers will get booted then they can create a slower match

the admins probably need to up grade the server now because this game uses a lot of bandwidth so that could be why its laggy

man i can bet almost anything that my computer is not slow if anything it is faster than yours and is more adapted to gaming than you home PC is. also i have fiber optic internet which in itself is really fast. so dont just assume that when people are lagging its because of their computer being slow.

Ok dudes.. lets me give you a quit lesson. Your "fastest computer" may be the fastest computer.. but it could be slow because you have things running in the backround. For example... MSN, skype, for some users, other internet or gaming things open, or maybe you just have to clear some junk out. Tru doing this.
If you have Internet Explorer, which most do, follow these steps.
1) go to Tools
2) Go to options
3) You'll see something to do with Temporary internet files under the tab General, depending on your version of IE, just click a button near it that sayd delete. and that should do some things.
If you have FireFox.. uhh.. i dunno.. never tried it with firefox because i don't use FireFox. Someone else can post about FireFox if they know it..
also try going to Options on the main pawn menu and make the quality low and Hide Enemy Bullets. It helped me.. and my computer is a pile of crap. If your computer is fast... it should really help you.
Any computer will lagg sometimes as well.. even if you think you have the fastest computer... Ok :)

Blank is working as hard as he can at the moment. Deal with the lagg or get a better internet. This happens to everyone one time or another

you think that the people who have the faster computers are ignorant you need to know computers to know if you have a fast one or not (unless you own a Dell then you believe anything). most gamers don't have background apps running while they are playing unless they are benchmark testing. maybe the admins will read this thread and think "hey with all these updates for the software why not an update for the hardware" in other words I blame the server.

I agree with ZombiePenguin, Pawn is using alot more bandwidth now that there are alot more Pawn players, mabye the admisn should upgrade their server?
