Welcome, to the Create-A-Ride PAWN Tournament! In this tournament, users will compete to see who's created cars are the best of them all! The winner of this tournament will recieve a special prize, from which is still being discussed. Regardless, I still wish to try to give A prize for the winner of this tournament. Anyways, there are two categories. Here is how you register for the Four Car Tournament (FCT):
=-=-=-=-=-=
- Create four cars in Create-A-Ride. Take their VIN Numbers, and go to the car registration screen (it's the fifth backdrop, after the Drag Racing mini-game backdrop). Register these four cars. Be sure to pick out a team name, too.
- Go to the next backdrop, after registering your four cars. Take a screenshot of this backdrop. It will be your four cars driving, with your team name displayed in the center of the backdrop. Proceed to take a screenshot of this backdrop.
- After getting the screenshot, upload the image to an image hoster. Preferrably, Photobucket, or Imageshack. Copy the image url of the image.
- Send a PM to me on the PAWN forums. Make the title "FCT Registration". The title MUST AT LEAST have FCT in the title. Otherwise, your PM will be ignored. The reason why a PM is required, is so that it's harder for participants to steal your car, which is a tournament rule.
- After I recieve the PM, I will register you into the tournament.
=-=-=-=-=-=
Now, here's how you register for the One Car Tournament (OCT):
=-=-=-=-=-=
- Make a SINGLE car of your choice. Copy the VIN Number.
- Make a new PM to me, with the title containing OCT.
- I will register your VIN Number to the OCT.
=-=-=-=-=-=
Now, I shall provide the rules for the tournament.
=-=-=-=-=-=
- Participants MUST register via PM. If participants to the tournament attempt to register by posting in the thread, they will be disqualified.
- Participants MUST provide GENUINE cars. Any attempt of submitting an currently registered car will result in disqualification. This is considered stealing.
- Participants MUST fulfill all requirements for the tournament category they are entering.
- Participants attempting to submit registered VIN Numbers in the OCT will be disqualified. This is also considered stealing.
- Participants must follow all general forum rules when posting in this thread.
=-=-=-=-=-=
Now, how to score, you say? Well, the tournament is publicity-based. Your scoring depends on the comments of other users. These specific users will be considered judges. Anyone wishing to be a judge can just be a judge. However, please consider using actual, honest ratings when judging cars. Anyone can judge, pretty much, excluding tournament participants, of course.
Each rating given for each car gets enrolled into points. Cars may be rated from 1/10. FCT participants' car ratings will be enrolled into one rating, then enrolled into points. 1/10 is 1 point, 2/10 is 2 points, etc., you should understand the actual scoring method being used. For FCT participants, let's say you got four ratings of 5/10, 8/10, 10/10, and 4/10. That adds up to 29/10. Divided by 4, 29/10 = 7.25/10. Rolled by the nearest hundreth, would be 7/10. You would've earned 7 points.
The participant with the most points, for each category, will win a prize. I am still working on the prize right now, but trust me, there WILL be a prize.
Enjoy the event, everyone!
