View Full Version : Upgradable weapons? (Please read in full)

"Upgradable weapons?" I hear you say. "What do you mean?" I mean something like this...

Damage +
Cost: 5 KCs
Effect: Adds 10 % damage to any 1 weapon.

Silencer
Cost: 2 KCs
Effect: Adds a silencer to any one weapon.

Ammo +
Cost: 7 KCs
Effect: Adds more ammo (10 %-ish)

Ect...

And then, of course:

Ultimate package
Cost: 12 KCs
Effect: Adds all the upgrades above to any one weapon.

There could also be other stranger things like:

Acid
Cost: 7 KCs
Effect: Adds a small amount of damage every second before the effect wears off.

Freeze
Cost: 10 KCs
Effect: Slows the person hit down.

Jammer
Cost: 20 KCs
Effect: Jams the person hit's gun for 5 seconds, as well as causing damage.

So, what do you think?

Suggested before, but I like how you explained it more throughly than some of the others. >>

The ultimate package should actually be worth more than all of the above upgrades combined, and you can only add one upgrade to a gun, though. Just to keep balance.

It would also be quite confusing to make (considering that I make them).

I also say damage + should be more valuable than ammo +, as there is this thing... "Quality over quantity".

Another thing is... a shotgun with damage +? *ahem* Maybe not. >>

This would be a good addition O_O and if it said a little square under the name of the weaon and it said

L-85A1
"ammo upgrade"
"silencer upgrade" ( silencer's actually make it hurt more, for some reason :eek: )



but the jammer one is a bit long

5 seconds.. wow. in just 2 you can die O_O
