To have a user name of il, tf, greb or any of the mods names...

Be mature enough to handle people yelling and cussing at you for no apparent reason without arguing back.

That's pretty much the hardest requirement, and the reason a lot of people who think they should be a moderator aren't chosen.

Does not trying to argue count?

I guess to be a mod. You just have to be chosen. Its completely random, and if your "well known" i guess you can go around saying hi to everyone.

Me, i just tell the truth, usually people don't believe me. But i don't care about them. So to be honest. I guess thats what you have to do, be honest.:)

1) I fail :(
2) Not really. I'll answer questions but thats about it :O
3) Blank101 :D
4) I can't spell very well lol... And isn't spelling part of grammar?...
5) Ok so 1 thing I did do... Yay!

That kinda shows, all you have to be is #2 (Towards Blank101 / the admins) Well that and seem qualified to be a mod. But being all of those 5 things could really help.

no mods disscusse who we should chose and we come up with the names along with blank. il i cant give info out and foot is hacker39. hes also played pawn game a long time. both of these two have played pawn since the beggining or from the begging but they were other names. i cant say out exeactly there names but yeah. it would mess up lots if mods were picked out randomly.......but on to other things.

I got a question:
How do you pick people to be a mod? It's not like you are actually looking for them, you are not actually looking for future-mods because it's impossible, if YOU think someone's well-know. then that you're OPINION! And second there are too many people out there, there might be a guy that is so well-know that whenever someone says him name everyone gasps or tells how they "beat" him, but the guy's never on! I used to be really well-known, my account name was blackparade and everyone knew me, you know how? Because every Friday and Saturday I would stay up all night talking to people. Anyway... I was really well-know! But there might be some people out there that might think that of me, me being "well-know" is my openion! So how do you do it?

Blank101 has to know you, even if it's not in reality. You have to be honest, and ethical, and you should be a person who likes to help people. Just show him who you are by doing what you can to help out, whether it's in the forums or in the chatroom. That's all i can suggest buddy.

If they read the FAQ's more often, you would not need to bump old threads. Old threads are there for reference, not for resurrection.

To become a mod is stated plainly in the FAQ:

Simply asking yourself this question is a sign that you would not make a good mod.
If your curious anyway, helping out the Pawn community in a meaning full way is a good start. Try too hard to become a mod, and you will not become one.

Pfft, I'm never gonna become a mod, I just type a lot because I'm used to it and I have to type enough to make sure that it is understandable.
