I feel really great right now.
One of the forums I love to hang out at, one of the first I joined really, was being BOMBARDED by spambots.
It was going on for about 6 months, so the admin stopped anyone from registering :[
I asked him if I could try to fix it, and he says sure and makes me an admin on the spot.
In exactly 60 minutes I wrote up a new php registry field, make a separate page for security backup, performed several forum management thingies because the mods weren't around to do it, perfected my php script, had lunch, got another 1k points in pawn, posted a lot in the forums (that I was working on, not pawns forums), tested my scripting, double-tested it, installed some more security features, installed some much needed mods, ate more lunch, reprimanded a spammer, and posted an announcement announcing the announcement of the end of the bot rage.
Now I'm all sweaty.:mad:
BUT IT WAS WORTH IT WOORT I FEEL AWESOME AND STUFF SOMEBODY MUST HAVE SLIPPED ME SOMETHING HOORAY!!
