Silenced Weapons?

What's their purpose? It really doesn't matter if weapons are loud or soft, everyone hears them anyway.

I'm not sure myself, actually. I kind of wondered if anyone ever tried to use stealth in this game. Maybe they're more accurate or something...I don't know.

I think silenced weapons don't give off those lines when you shoot and have more ammo then the normal weapons

No.. I think the regurler kimber (the one with ifinite ammo) and the kimber suppresed are same becuase both of them do the same damage.

That's what you think, just because there is less noise. Kimber suppressed does 11, pistol does 10. Mac11 does 3, Mac11 Suppressed does 4.

In reality non-Silenced weapons are more powerful that silenced weapons because the silencer or suppressor while silencing the noise lessens the power of the round. In this game, they're are only two silenced weapons, the Kimber .45 Suppressed and the Mac-11 Suppressed. The .45 is more silent, and the rounds don't show, than your starting Glock 9mm. even though it is suppressed but Id rather wield the Glock because it has infinite ammo allowing you to outgun the .45. & it can be hidden when ambushing your opponent. As for the Mac-11 Suppressed it is more silent, and the rounds don't show, than the standard Mac-11. The Standard Mac-11 is better because it retains its power and can be hidden when ambushing your opponents.

I honestly, think it is much more accurate. Mac-11 w/o suppression isn't that accurate as suppressed, therefore, easy to gain headshots with.

i Think That Silencers Just Enhance The Normal Gun

they do more damge to opponents

mac-10 supressed is way better than the mac 10. :|


it has more accuracy, as in th emac 10 shoots rapid and bullets dont go directly.

in a longer barel you have more accuracy :p

is 101 combat theres not much of a diffrance, but in total carnage, where you dont even know whats going on then it makes a diffrance, if you can hide somwhere your victim will be so occupied with staying alive and fighting the people that are in the open you can snipe them out (with or without a headshot) before they even know they've been hit

In reality it will give a little better aim BUT it reduces the power and doesnt add power.

Well,sometimes if u dont see someone like hes invisible (line of sight)usually if u shot with a silenced weapon other people out of ur line of sight wouldnt hear u :)

the surpressed weapons dont show where the shot is coming from, heres an example, when hiding with the standard mac 11, likely behind boxes, once you fire the enemy will see a "line if fire"...literaly, if he traces that "line" back to its source before he gets killed... then he knows you position and will likely have no where to run. The surpresed weapons do not have this "line" so they cant be traced back to the source and the enemy wont find you as easily.
