Intro threads

Well i was thinking that intro threads should be deleted or locked after 5-7 days to reduce the spam and people trolling posting on threads awhile after they have been created.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking the same thing. But 5-7 days is too much. Two days should be enough time to introduce yourself. Actually, maybe even one day would be enough.
