This map is sort of practice with water for the MOTW, but I think it actually came out with great gameplay. It's incredibly pretty too, the water effect looks better than I thought it would. I did the water with special +8, I wasn't sure whether it should be that or +7...I was guessing if I did +7 it would think it was a KOTH, but I'm not sure...did I do that right?

I really want to hear what you think of the water in particular, I've never used water before and I want to make sure I understand it.

Very appealing to look at, great tileflow
Makes me think of my city-environment

But indeed, the gamplay could be a problem

Try to make a point of advantage, but make spawns some distance away from it
Like they did in The Pyramid (The top)
Bloodbath (The 4 hills)
Metalworks (The almost middle hill)

Other than that random dirt path and wasted space on the top left, good job. You also managed to make the bridges look sexy.

Left is a bit bare, add some crates.

I think you need to transition to the water, cause how you have it now it goes from plain dirt to water. (The bottom of the slope peice)

That's quite the map, the water looks really good. I like the river to ocean thing and the boat on the side. The top left corner seems kind of empty though.

I like the boat at the bottom, but where would most of the fighting take place?

I love the idea!

Although, instead of making ffa you should make it an assualt map.
That map is way to big as an ffa dm.

The division amoung the river makes it seem so intersting to play in.

I like it.

This wouldnt work as an assault map because of the river, unless you want a dried up one :P

I kinda noticed that, but if I did that I think the zones would be accessible from the top, and that would be messed up. Only way around this would be to make the river/ocean two heights down, and that would be annoying. (but possible)

I couldn't make it an assault, because of how the water is made, it would require the water being a zone.........

Wait a minute, I might have just gotten an idea, I wonder if someone could make an assault map where red has to blow something up to create a leak in a water reservoir or something, like disrupting a town's water supply...that might be interesting...

On a serious note.
+Good use of the water, disregarding what others have said, I believe the transition from the grass to water looks fantastic and jaw dropping. :o
+For those who have asked where the fighting would occur, its blatantly obvious :).
The fighting would occur in between the river and on the (cruise liner) boat. These two locations would have the most intense fights and would the players main focal point.
+Fair map... meaning no unfair distinct vantage points.
+Appealing name.
+For those of you complaining about being big. Its really only big because 1/2 the map is water 1/2 is land, making it seem big.

Cons:
-I agree about top left... It kinda sticks out as bare just add a couple of little decorations to make it less bare.
-nada
