Tsar Bomb, the largest bomb ever made by man ( Soviet Union) Has a design which allows 100 Megatons equal to 100,000,000 tonnes of TNT. This had to be scaled down to the force of a 100 MT blast evaporating rocks within 50 mile radius, so this was scaled down to 57 MT. The pilots had to wear special goggles due to the light being so intense it travelled around the world three times, and was visible on third passage around earth, so was the shockwave, and the heat.... lol this was exploded back in the 80's, so im guessing theres secret projects to make even more powerful versions.......... Nervous Laughter. If Washington D.C. gets hit, bunkers dont save, and N.Y would be incinerated

How would it feel to work an a weapon that could kill millions of people and if you did something wrong it could kill you?

I read on it, it shook the windows (and shattered them) in finland. It almost reached the bombers height. If it had been detonated ong round, it might have caused an earthquake.

old, but still fascinating

only 2 of thses were ever produced (one being used for the test)

mainly for a morale thing.

Go on google maps and you can check out the lake that it made. (insane)

First of all, nukes cant explode due to pressure applied to it, thats why all nukes explode at a height of about 10000 feet via altimeter and detonator ( tsar bomb exploded at altitude of 19000 ft)
