Adding text to an already made signature, or picture is not Graphics work.

The first Picture is of Mreitz's Recon class, and putting in text isn't considered making a tag.

In fact, i'm pretty sure it's ripping. Making something like that Recon signature BEFORE the text would be an example of somebody's work.

I've noticed that you can use Photoshop. Here's a challenge for you. I want you to click on the link here (http://tutorialgod.com/index.php/naruto-skull-forum-signature-tutorial) (btw, it's not naruto, it's bleach). Then I want you to follow that tutorial using any render you like. You don't have to follow it exactly, but either way it will help you a lot. This should take you about 30-60 minutes to do. After that, post what you created here and I'll give you feedback.

Based on his style (nice effects in the background, great at text, but bad at putting effects around the render) I'm pretty sure he made the sonic one skins.

Also, why is alfa in the group? He's not as good as this kid. Also, in the beginning we didn't care who joined or anything, as long as they could make graphics, good or bad, we let them in. So why have any doubt in letting people in if they're better than some of the people we currently have? I'm just wondering.

lol, I forgot about the group limit. And yeah, we should go to war with MKG's people. We might lose, but it will be fun! Actually, if we do go to war I can't participate until we re-install PS.

Well, here's what I'm wondering/concerning/commenting on.

1) I like your enthusiasm.
2) I can't participate in a war (yet) and you should know why, although my dad is coming back late from the tech today. Maybe I should ask him to get the stuff before he leaves.
3) Well, so far there are only a couple of teams out there, so we're kind of limited to people we can go against.
4) Shouldn't we be posting this in our social group?

1) I just wanted to see what he could do with the tutorial. It helped me, so I thought it could help him too.
2) It's not taking that long. For the other guy (forgot his name) we gave him 48 hours and we didn't accept him.
3) I already gave him a challenge.

Also, I really want this kid to join, it's just that he has some flaws about him you know? And take it easy on him, he's kind of new and is a hell lot better than what we could do when we first started. Remember?

Ok guys I got the order.......I might do a little todday then release it tommorow.
Might even get it in today if I get it up fast enough.

Just take your time man. Also, here's some tips.

1) In all of the sigs that you've made, I've noticed that you haven't been doing anything with the render. It looks like you spent a crap load of time on the background, and then just pasted the render onto it. Try to blend some factual renders over it so it won't look so plain, just don't overdo it.
2) Use photo filters. They help.
3) Occasionally use gradient maps because they will make the colors stand out, just make sure to change the blending options to what's right, and change the transparency of it too otherwise it will look like crap.
4) Because I gave you that render, use green. That should be common sense, but if you go off of the style or whatever it will kill the signature.
5) Besides green use some colors from the render so it won't go off or anything (you should know what I mean by that)
6) Create new layer and apply image. You'll know what to do after that.

This should help you. And remember that making this will determine if you're in or out.

Edit: Wait what? The render is cut out already. Did you make an account on planetrenders yet? If not then you won't be able to get the cut out version of this.

It's a real toughie for me. I definitely see improvement from oshoot, which makes me REALLY wanna change my mind, but I really love Nick's style. I think he's got a good sense of what he does, and so does oshoot. Onto the signatures, oshoot's is my favorite that I've seen him make, Nick's isn't a sig, but all art should be accepted here. I have to go with Nick as well... The text in the sig makes me feel warm ad fuzzy inside, which is also part of art imo, having a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, that it.
