I took a puck to the toe playing street hockey. Nail fell off and grew in crooked. Had to get the procedure done, and couldn't get my ice-skate on for like 2 weeks. I missed like 3 games thanks to that freaking toe.

my nail came off and ther was blood everywhere.

Missed football practise for a month

Suddenly I have a in-grown toenail fetish.

It's been a chronic problem for me my entire life. The one like you have above is an infected one. It's pretty similar to the one I have right now actually. They make you take an anti-inflammatory for 2 weeks before they even think about taking those out, which is the stage im currently in. Im almost sure this will be my 8th surgery on this one toe since high school.

As for what it feels like? It really hurts when you screw with it or it gets really touched at all, but other than that, its a big dull pain. Been limping around for too long now. Just want it fixed.

Ouch. The nail came off, blood everywhere, and I went to the hospital emergency room.
It was in alittle cast and stuff for a few weeks.
Guess what?
A new nail has grown OVER the half-broken old nail.
Its actually still growing over the old nail.
It looks ugly.

I had it awhile ago. You don't have to have surgery. Just pop the bubble thing, and a bunch of ooze comes out. And after a day, you're fine.

That's disgusting.... Anyway, i just recently shed my toe nail. 1 quarter came off the the rest fell of 4 days later. It didn't hurt at all and i didn't bleed. Apparently i was growing another toe nail underneath, and it pushed my toe nail out. Wow.
