<font color="#FF0000">Create</font> - To create a new empty map you must first specify the Width and the Height dimensions. Fill in the two boxes, each unit corresponds to the number of screens, ex: A 1 Width 1 Height map will be only 1 screen in size. Once the dimensions are chosen press the Create button below the text boxes and some red lines should appear in the main painting area.

<font color="#FF0000">Painting</font> - To paint tiles into your newly created map simply select a tileset type on the right. Once selected a list of tiles will appear. Now select a tile from the list and start clicking and dragging on the main area to paint tiles.

A big tile appears at the bottom of the tile list to give a close up real-size view of the selected tile.

The following are tile attributes, which tell you what the tile does:
C - Collidable (You cant shoot or walk through it)
F - Foreground (The tile is in front of the character so the character can walk behind it)
S - Special (Spawn points, and the artifact)
A - Ammo (Ammo tile capable of giving refills to players)
L - Ladder (Climbable tile)

**NEW WITH PATCH 1.07**
Destructible tiles are a new option available starting at patch 1.07. To make a tile destructible first check off the box "Destructible" and then fill in the hit points below. More hit points makes for a stronger tile. In the game, destructible tiles can be destroyed by inflicting the required damage.
**

One tile can have multiple attributes, for example a CF tile is both collidable and in the foreground.

To delete a tile goto Special > Select the Empty Tile.
