People are always confused on how you do this or this....
This guide is here to help all you folks that can't do all this...
WHAT IS BB CODE!?!?!?!?!?
BB codes are the special effects of these forums, they include colors, size, font, codes(PHP), allignment(words on screen) and images..
HOW DO I USE IT???
Ok...I'll write this bit normally.......It'll make it easier to read that way...
To use BB codes you have to use these brackets [ ] to insert your effects...
For special colors type this, BEFORE all the typing you want that color. The blank line is where you would type your color; example, [COLOR=magenta]magenta or gold... Don't put in rainbow...It doesn't work like that!
To use sizes it's near exactly the same as with colors but...Instead of typing this, [COLOR=_______ ], you type this, [SIZE=_ ]...Now with size you don't insert a color name on the blank line...You put in a number.
Now we move on to the images, codes and PHP codes....
To insert and image put in [IMG] then a website address in. For codes, use [code] and for allignment of the text use [LEFT], [RIGHT], [INDENT] ETC...
Now for the tricky bit...
Once you've finished typing in whatever you wanted with special effects you MUST insert /color between another set of your special effect brackets!, to finish your color, /b to stop it from being bold, /code, to stop using a code, /center,to stop centering your text!!! If you dont...Your post will look retarded!!!
