Guard is never said to be overpowered, just a PITA to be killed. It's firepower is horrid, just the shield is impossible to take down in a 1vs1

And, the guard isnt overpowered, i play trenches most of the time, as lancer, and it takes me about 10 seconds to wipe out a guard and the whole team by my self with a medic hiding behind a wall, and possibly a guard to protect me from a ew hits here and there, if a guard was overpowered, i wouldnt get all those kills in one game, and slim to no deaths.
