Reps?

I don't want to sound like a noob or something, but what and how do you use reps? I don't really get what they are...

Really reps are just there so that u can see how much respect the user has.

It for reputation. you post something
food or something people like we give you rep or
vice versa. so you can see who is a respected member
on these forums or the opposit.

Rep is just to show you who is respected in the forums (Green squares ) and who isnt respected (red squares) :)
