This forum is moderated, meaning that any threads made here must be approved by a person with the power to do so, such as a clan manager or moderator. Threads that have not been approved will not be visible.

In order for your clan's thread to be approved, your clan as well as the thread itself must meet a set of guidelines.

Clan Guidelines

(PawnGame only) You must have a website of some sort put together, such as a forum.
You must have 100 or more posts before making a clan (although we will be lenient on that).
Keep your members under control. If they flame and\or spam on your clan thread, your clan's thread will be locked for two weeks or more. If this occurs again after it has been locked, the thread will be deleted.
If clans flame other clans, there will be consequences.
These rules are subject to change (and there is a high possibility of that).

Thread Guidelines
Your clan thread is the centerpiece and the recruitment center of your clan. It is essential that your thread be well put together in order to attract new members. It is important that it looks professional. A poorly put together thread is an indicator of a clan that will not succeed.

If you want your thread to be approved you shall follow these guidelines.

Therefore be sure to include the following:

Banner
Mission Statement
Clan Description
List of Staff
List of Members (optional but recommended)
Application Form (preferably in [code] boxes)
Clan Userbars\Signatures (optional)
Clan Requirements
Clan Code of Conduct

Additionally, you should make your clan thread both easy to read and stylish.

This can be accomplished by doing some of the following:

Color at least some of your text (do not use colors that are hard to see or are very bright, such as yellow)

Use varying sizes of text (a minimum font size of 2 is recommended in order to reduce eye straining and help those with vision impairments)

Center/align your text

Some examples of threads that are very well put together are:

Modern Day Heroes (http://www.pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?p=792829)
XXX (http://www.pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116507)
DRC (http://www.pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120362)

If you need clarification or ideas on how to implement any of the above, direct your inquiry to one of the members of the Clan Manager group.
