This Thread (http://www.pawngame.com/forum/showthread.php?t=117707) grabbed my attention to a map making issue. That issue is in regards to background settings.
There are many, many backgrounds for maps (from night to jungle to underwater). Unfortunately, as they are not labeled, it makes it difficult to view each background in accordance to your map.
Here is what I propose:
1). Blank should create an extra tab (like a pop-up that you click on to expand) that has all the backgrounds CLEARLY LABELED. Ie; Night, Jungle, Underwater.
2). Once you select a background, it would show up ON THE MAP MAKING TEMPLATE. That way, you could view your whole map, as it would appear in game, from the comfort and safety of the map editor itself.
I believe that (2) is the more improtant, but both ideas complement each other quite nicely.
