Why...? (Name Changes Request)

...Why do people make a new account and they ask for a name change? It's like they could have picked the name when they were registering...

And, maybe they could have picked the name, but someone took it.
But there's lots of people who changed names, so it's like 25% they took their name.

Shouldn't really be in help. But i dunno where to put it.
But peopel change names because they want a new one. I have had hamo3 on this game, i had it for about 2 years. Then i just took the 3 off.
People get over there names and want a new one.
When they make a new acc they do it because they usally have bad stats and want a better k/d ratio.

As far as i know there is a limit.
You need certain number of posts and things.

1.. You can only apply for a name change once every six months. Anything more than that just creates too much work for me.
2. The new name that you want must meet one of the following criteria:
---A) The account is nonexistent in the database
---B) The account is also your account
---C) The account is an unknown player that has been inactive for preferably at least a year, and have under 25 posts (I'll be a bit flexible on this, if it's reasonable)
3. Any new name requests must meet all of Pawn's criteria for names, so don't put words that aren't acceptable (swearing, racism, harrassment, ect.)
4. Your name must start with a letter, not a number.
5. Your name must not contain illegal characters including spaces and/or symbols.
6. Your name must be two letters or longer in order to play the games

All those can be broken by creating a new account.

It does get anoying but havent u felt that urge ur like "ooo i wont that name!" and thats wat it's for. If u play PG ur stats will reset but nothing on PT.

Why do you think?
Most of the people with the 1 post (which is the name request) don't use the forum thats why they only have 1 post. The reason why they'd ask for the name request is probely becasue it's already taken.
But I do agree that people who like joined and asked for a name request the same month shouldn't have their name changed (think it's just stupid...).

Well the account can be used from PT beta and is no longer available so the only way to get it back is to ask for a name change request.

Also, some people want to keep their stats in PT with the new name they want to request.
