Yeah, I first did one with no permission, quickly learned that consequence.
When I wanted to learn packet editing I was doing it on crappy games because I wanted to stay unbanned on pawn.
After a bit I PMed sk8urdead after he blatantly said "There are NO hacks, I'd love to see you prove otherwise.", and eh accepted my terms of "I find new stuff and you report it to blank." (Because blank would read a mods PM labeled "Hacks found" over a users, of course.). did the same with snip3d.

I got banned from the game for hacking, and on the promise that I never do it again I'm allowed to play again in a week or so. I will tell you why I hacked.
1. The game is boring and hacking makes it fun, why? because if you do it correctly you can complete PlSS people off, the kind of people who completely make you ragef by killing you 100 times and when you kill them once they whine and whine then poop themselves and fall asleep. With hacking you can dominate them and crack there fragile minds, and in a way eliminate the unwanted community.
2. To see people on the forum cry. Most of you don't realize saying we have no life isn't insulting. Why? because we aren't the ones crying over a game. Instead we're bullying the ones who are, I guess in a jocks sense of things we are the only ones WITH the life.
3. Because it's new. Most hackers CRAVE updates. Actual hackers like myself and others go through about every single thing on the internet in a week then wait for something new because life is dull, the internet is becoming duller by the second for us as well, and media is dead to us. With hacking we can make things seem new to us, without waiting for the owners to update it every few months/years/eons.
4. For the lulz.

As well a side note, It's very obvious when you say a hacker has no life and they suck and start insulting them, that you are butthurt. this is what we want. instead laugh with them instead of crying at them.

i used to hack an fps called combat arms mostly cuz i sucked i wanted an extra edge i didnt do cheap stuff like see through wall but i did do no recoil or spread untill no spread and recoil were impossible because so many people hacked that game it got so bad you can report them while they are playing that is why i like crossfire it has been around real long so there are minimal hacks for even then i wouldnt hack that game but i think the point is people hack when they get frustrated cuz others are hacking and they dont stand a chance against other hackers combineed with curiosity combined with rebelion i use dto love to hack but i once got hacked so bad i quit hacking i never hacked pawn though cuz it aint worth it to me. look you shouldnt verbally/physically harass chakcers we all felt the urge just try to get them to stop and then temporarily ban them if they dont
