Need some advice about managing clans?
Ask here, so that one of our qualified CM's can answer it.

^Use this site.^ It has the most "un-complicated" admin CP.

What is the best free host for websites, not forums.
Similar to most things in life, you have a very narrow selection to choose from when you talk free. I would say freewebs is probably going to be your best bet though.

Holds everything, reliable host.
Freewebs limits you WAY to much.
But it is simpler.
hardened war vet, how bout S1.Zetaboards? cant u get alot of custimization in that? is that a good clan site? ty 4 your time
SMF (http://www.simplemachines.org/) is better IMO for forums, or PHPBB. (http://www.phpbb.com/)

We (well wolf technically ;)) had zetaboards for CIA and the site was great.
Now we have zetaboards for MDH and our site is great.
(also cause we are masters at making websites. ;D)

Zeta is good, MOAR features than IF.
Zeta also seems to be a tad complicated compared to IF. I would start with an IF to get the hang of things before jumping into a Zeta. If you want to make something EXTREMELY simple, use freewebs.

I found Zetaboards to be just as easy as invisionfree.
Don't use freewebs unless you want your clan to fail.

Use ipbfree.com or jcink.Com . They have tons of features and very easy. It's perfect. Zeta is simple but is limited because it lacks features and codes. Ipbfree has thousands of codes and skins. Phpbb is ok but doesn't have that clan feel or look to it.

Zetaboards being like a little over a year old.
There still aren't a LARGE number of good skins and codes for the forum, just the basics.
It could make a great clan site, some of pawn's most successful clans were on Zeta.

BTW: Who ever said they put IF before Zeta, IF creators made Zetaboards, that's why they let a conversion for all IF boards to Zeta.

Since we're already on the topic, here's my opinion on IF vs ZB:
IF Pros:
Coding is easier (doesn't matter if you don't code)
simpler admin CP format
more options as far as scripts/customization
more themes
IF Cons:
Admin CP doesn't allow as much control over forums
Still has a bunch of bugs that don't get patched.
ZB Pros:
GREAT Admin CP
There's an arcade script (IF might have one too, but I haven't checked)
better support forums/community overall
gets updated more often
custom webpage maker (for more advanced users)
Zetaboards Premium (allows access to all member PMs plus other stuff) (7.95 USD/month)
You can do TrialPay for free ad removal
Has a compiled list of all add-ons (found here (http://support.zetaboards.com/topic/1370/1/))
ZB Cons:
Has less themes to choose from
Admin CP is a tad bit more complicated
Winner: Zetaboards

first off, just don't use .tk for forums. I recommend ZB, because of the custom webpage maker. Here you can create a completely custom webpage that will use the same theme as the rest of your site. (i.e. a website without the hassle of style.css files)

I've actually found that the ZB ACP is more user friendly than that of IF.
Although, I will vouch that IPB is also a good board - definitely the choice if you want more option than ZB provides.

I have always liked the ACP for zetaboards better.
I am going to compile a list of stuff for clans, like forum sites, hosting sites, ect.
Because we spent like 3 pages on one question lul.
Maybe a FAQ to?

Tell them not to or else they get a punishment.. like a ban or they get kicked from the clan.

since i mad my new clan its hard recuirting anyone because they all want to big clans witch makes me mad can you help the only people i can recuirt are my friends

This can be easily fixed. Try and get your friends to tell their friends to join, and so on.
Also, a site could help (Something fancy) which would attract some people.
A colorful and stylish clan thread is another thing that can help.

get your friends to spread the word about your clan to their friends and so on and use s1.zetaboards for a clan website its easy to use and can customize it however you want

Pawn has no clan system, so people create threads on the forums, advertise, and then they accept/deny requests to join the clan.
