login issue

I loged out and now when i sign in it says that my name already exists. So I guess i'm not loged out because the game seems to think I'm still in there playing. Advice?

What I meant was I cleared the cache on both browsers and neither worked. I should be more clear so you don't think i'm an idiot. I just want to play the darn game. I don't want to have to start over with a new account.

Can you give me a screenshot of the error message?

Here's how to take a screenshot:
1) Goto the window where the error message is. Press Alt + Print Screen (the print screen key is sometimes abbreviated and is located somewhere in the upper-right).
2) Open Paint (Start Menu > Accessories > Paint).
3) Paste the picture and save it anywhere on your hard drive.
4) Goto tinypic.com
5) Upload your picture there.
6) Paste the link to the picture here. (There are three options, choose the one that says "Direct" or "Direct Link").

if this happened, most likely someone finally found out your Pass Word and possibly changed it :/ or u r not typing in the pass word correctly. like u have caps lock on or w/e. i would restart my PC and see what happens. there may just be a glitch or something.

I've had this account since 07. It's not new at all. I walked away from my computer and when I came back I was loged off. It wont let me back in.

yeah, it's spelled bigbadbooger all lower case. my pass is a completely random group of numbers and letters so i doubt someone guessed it. Plus my account wasnt anything anyone would want. My k/d isnt great. capslock is off. It's not the password. You get a different error screen with that. The game just thinks I'm still in there playing.

Restarting your computer does not delete temp files.

All it does is reboot your computer, fix windows installations, and allows windows registry changes.

Furthermore, if he has a mac, a variant of BSD, or linux(or solaris), rebooting his computer will do absolutely nothing, as rebooting to fix errors is a windows only thing.

It's not the computer. I've tried on three seperate computers since yesterday and it doesn't work. Theres something wrong on pawns end of things. I appreciate all the help and suggestions but i'm just going to start over and hope pawn doesnt do this to me again.

Turn your router off, wait about 20 seconds, and turn it back on. This will change your IP address, so you won't be "always on".

No use of clearing anything. He's played since 2007 and he hasn't played for a while probably. His account is glitched. I would just create a new account and start out fresh again.

I have a new account and I'm doing better than before. My only regret is losing my name as it had personal signifigance. Once again thanks to everyone for their suggestions. People actually trying to help each other instead of just being jerks and calling each other noobs. Yay help forum!
