Concept & Mission Statement:
Solus Verus Gens strives to be Pawn's best and only true clan while having as much fun as possible. We value a positive attitude, amiability in conversation and competitive playing ability.


Summary:
On December 18, 2008, three hall of fame Pawngame players, Superstition, Sadistic, and Jangalang discussed thier contempt for the large and impersonal clans of pawn that crowded the landscape of the time. All had been leaders of the top clans but felt a disconnection between themselves and thier ranks. They sensed a lack of purpose for the organizations they led. They decided to start small, community based tight knit clan based with the best of people. The name is latin and kept secret from non members, though we understand it is vulnerable to google.

Finishing with a roster of just 20 members and 2,000,000 points, Solus Verus Gens was a top Pawn Tactics Beta clan. SVG confirmed its claim to the only true clan when all of its members help together as team through the switch to pawngame forums and pawngame hosting. On March 23, 2009, just a few days after the 3 month mark of SVG, we restarted our quest for true comraderie in Pawn Tactics.


Clan Policy:
-Solus Verus Gens will consist of both the best players in Pawn as well as entry level stand outs. For example, Jangalang is top in both Pawn Tactics and a Hall of Fame Pawn player while original member S3RJ is new to both communities.
-All members will be moderators
-All recruits require TWO yes's for an invite, and a unanimous decision to join. All no votes need to be stated via forum PM.
-Clan members may not discuss SVG business publically.

11/9/09 We are back to 10,000 points! The 2nd time we reached the 10,000 point mark
10/26/09 PT experiences some technical errors, as a result clan points are reset a few, our 10k+ is gone and we are back to 9404.
10/10/09 A 3-1 Death Trap clan wars victory against God's Own Prototypes, score 3-1, awards Solus Verus Gens its 10,000th point. SVG is the first clan to reach 10k.
8/8/09 A turmulteous day in PawnTactics onfolds. Solus Verus Gens colides with Serious Internet Group during hours of head on clan wars. Just as SVG edges out SIG for first place at 8175 points, SIG suffers the results of an immature, careless leader. PrettyTonyDon deletes SIG leaving SVG lonely in a bittersweet first place.
6/24/09 SVG is the first clan to reach 5000 points
6/12/09 Superstition takes back ownership, Clan passes 4,000 points and completes a recruiting session bringing the roster to 38 members.
5/31/09 SVG earns its 3000th point and Dan relieves superstition of ownership
5/18/09 Solus Verus Gens is now 5 months old
5/9/09 Solus Verus Gens earns 2000 points in clan wars, ranked first
4/25/09 Thanks S3RJ for an excellent new banner. Team passes 1400 points today and holds down in first place.
4/20/09 SVG passes back HMC for the top spot at 1100+ points.
4/6/09 Superstition took over ownership from Iknifeudrop at 1,000,000 points. Clan wars was released today erasing the million and replacing the clan ranking system with the clan wars, much improved way to weigh the clans.
3/29/09 GalinKinlin and AvengerM join the team.

3/23/09 SVG is restarted with a bang by IknifeUdrop in PawnTactics.

Do you remember me? I joined SVG back when it had about 5-6 members. I quit pawn tactics after the reset.

I think sunnymario or mario something was the one that first got me in.I joined sometime around Christmas. It was back when we were around rank 20 or so just after a week with just a few members. I wish I had stayed around...


Anyways... I have just started back up today and I have right at a 3 k/d and I have 3753 points and I have MVPed in 8/10 of the rounds that I have played so far.

We recruit when we need more people. Most the people in the clan have been apart of the team for many months and alot fewer people leave this clan than a typical clan. We dont like to see people leave, replace them that day, as most clans have a typical leave and enter on a daily/weekly basis.

But occasionally people do move on to other PT ambitions, and we lose some to retirement from the game. Then a decision is made by myself and the ranks to recruit and we will do so. But its not now. When we do recruit again we follow ridig policies you can find on the first post of this thread, and we are sure to evaluate all of the people interested and make a decision based on fit for the player and the clan

I hadn't had a highly diverse membership in that many clans for a while...SVG still seems like the most solid choice. LoL infrared is a spy cmon man this is PT not worldWar3. Theres nothing a spy could learn from getting on our roster- we post all our clan policies on the thread and I meticulously update the roster. I dont see how a spy could help besides throwing the games which Infrared is not doing.

Removing in-actives to replace with actives is a good idea. We'll still keep the the Clan small, and follow the SVG code. We have a lot of in-actives though...

I was really looking forward to joining [SVG]. As some of you may never heard of me, I tell you, I am a natural. I'm currently in [EVE] helping my good friend XxSaraxX get her clan started. Four days into [EVE] and we have like 6 people, we have gathered up 100+ points, proving I'm active.
A little bit more about my PTself; In CTF, I will recon until my team has 2 flags captured, then I will switch to support and stratigically defend.
In TDM, I will either use assault(prefer) or support(if you want).
My all around favorite class is lancer. I do not use the lancer alot, though, because it has some many weaknesses. If there is a heavy out there, let me deal with it, I'm a good shot.

That is also kinda why I've been inactive. School is a major part, and I just recently started playing Combat Arms (top down shooter is SO much easier than FPS), and finally because every time I do log in, no one is on...
