View Full Version : Damn you iPod
Well, I forgot my password on my iPod and now its disabled.
I've tried restoring it through iTunes and its not working for some odd reason.
Any ideas?
Its an iPod Touch 8G.

Uhh......... Try putting it into DFU mode by holding the power and home button for 10 seconds and realeasing the power button but still holding the home button for another eight seconds. Do the same too turn it back on.If that dosen't work,if you still have warrenty on it,go to itunes and see if they let you get another one. Or get some dude to hack in to it.

Start guessing like crazy.
Or see if you can get it on long enough to drain its battery, and keep pressing it to turn on afterwards for about a day or two, worked for me.

Throw it on the ground & hit it with a hammer. It worked with mine, the warrenty paid for the new iPod that I now have. '.'

see if restarting it does the trick
switch the hold on and off
then press and hold the menu and select button both at the same time for about 5 seconds

I'm pretty sure you can just open it in iTunes and choose "Reset to factory settings".
