As most of you know, Blank and JP get the money they need to make this game from the advertisers. They pay Blank and JP to put those advertisements on the site.

Now, I'm pretty sure that the advertisers pay them per view that the advertisement gets. So each time an ad is newly viewed, Blank and JP get money.

So here's my question. If you were to just keep clicking the refresh button on your browser, wouldn't that make you view new ads really quickly? And in turn wouldn't that make Blank and JP get money from the ads really quickly as well?

If that were so, that would make it really easy to help them get money. Because all you have to do is spam click the refresh button.

Sometimes there aren't new ADs. It's just the same but different kind.
And I'm sure that they get money if you CLICK it.

I havent seen new adds in a while now.
And they probably paid Blank and JP money for the one add that just repeats.
I doubt people would want to post adds on a site if it's gonna cost them money everytime it pops up.

Isnt that fraud of some sort?
I don't think it's fraud.
I think it's just illegal, maybe scamming?

But does scamming not equal fraud? When it comes to money at least.

Fraud is when someone sells something fake, that's what I heard.
I don't understand how to get money by clicks though.

Sometimes it's every click on the ad, and sometimes it's every IP.

They don't get a lot from the ads. I've seen these ads per click and it's very tiny. 1000 clicks gets $1. It's maybe about $10 per month per ad to advertise on this site. We need more money...like a donate button?

They probably have a PayPal.
Let's find it. O_O

Most times, it's not based on total number of page visits, it's total number of unique page visits. Other times it's based on clicks. The more unique visitors and traffic your site sees, the more power you have over ad negotiations and the like.

So, in answer to your question, no, it doesn't do much, if anything at all - unless of course, you have a dynamic IP, and then you'd need to reset your modem in between refreshes.

I wouldn't take everything that the above site says as hard fact - it's all estimations, especially the ad revenue.

I thought you would make way more money than that. But im guessing that there ad is everywhere else. = less money for them

Wow, 1000 clicks is a dollar?
Why not 100 or 500. :\

Btw, they also get money by the CMG servers.

donations aren't accepted because of conflicts between Blank and Ack over who would receive what. Or at least that's what Blank told me when I tried to donate.

Uhhh IF and only IF pawn works like other sites here's what it likely is:

The ad companies probably pay monthly (And I have some web designing friends which say the price varies upon the popularity) since pawn has about 5,000 people that view the forum (my best guess) the ad companies would probably pay 7-20 Canadian dollars (I have no idea there symbol)

I don't think it's done by click or view, if it's done by click then it's usually about 3-5 of whatever the hell the canadians use for pence.

If it's done by view then it's FAR less, probably about 0.2 canadian pence

so spam clicking say it did 1,000 an hour would generate about 2 canadian dollars. And I PRAY TO THE GOD THAT DOES NOT EXIST you better have more productive things to do with your time.

And I'm sure there is variables though. (E.G CMG sponsor and server)

I think its every IP. as wonder said.

But they wouldn't be geting that much money even if we did all click the adds but it does help a little.

Pretty sure it works like pageviews on youtube or whatever. So no, it wouldn't work.

The advertisers usually have ways to find out if someone is just rapidly clicking.

On another website a while ago the owner said the best thing to do to get him money from the ads is to just visit a few ads a day, not just click, but actually look at the site for a couple minutes.

Hum, I don't think they can see how fast you click, but the how long you stay there might be possible.

And btw, to reduce the lag, blank could put some kind of page before you can play pawngame that says:

Click these adds, then you can play the game.

There would be some choice, then after that you could play pawn without ads.

I mean, why doesn't Blank put them on the forum instead of the game? =_=

I think it's like this. If I'm wrong, just ignore my post...

I think that the more VISITS (Not clicks, meaning only one time per IP per day/week/month/Inifinit(Not sure)) an add gets, the more money THEY have.

Then, I think they must sign some sort of contract with Blank so, here's an example of what I'm thinking:

IQ test puts an add on 3 websites: Pawn, Runescape and... Stick Arena.

I think that IQ test signed some contract with all the sites owner so that they all get money:

Pawn gets 20% of the money
Runescape gets 20% of the money
Stick Arena gets 20% of the money
IQ test (The add) gets 40% of the money.

If I'm wrong, just ignore my post ;)
