Now, I am just wondering: Will Pawn Tactics stay as a "shooter" or will it become a "futuristic shooter". When it was in beta, it was practically just a shooter. Now however, it seems to have gone a bit tech-ish.
Discuss.

I am guessing you are referring to the addition of the Lancer, am I right? The Lancer is the only difference from beta which I think adds to the futuristic edge of the game.
Well, I don't think Pawn Tactics was meant to be a "futuristic shooter" game entirely. Instead, I think it is sort of a cross hybrid between a futuristic and reality shooter game. Although there is a Lancer, the Nano-Pack of the Support, and the Invisibility cloak of the Recon, there are still the old fashioned Heavy and Assault, and the Mauler is rather down-to Earth too. So yeah...
Also, the maps still are the regular concrete, grass, barbed wires etc...Not much has changed...
