ok so here are my stratagies to win many a different type of game first off i will address the different classes and there uses and how effective i am with them
*disclaimer* this is guide and an explanation of how to win and get a higher score do not msg me or post saying that i am a noob or that i suck at PT
why i am qualified to make this: I have played pawn tactics since mid to late beta i have been there for most of the class changes from scout to lancer and gaurd and mauler i have a 1.58 k/d which does change i have over 270k points about 9k kills and around 5k deaths i play with some of the best members of pt in my clan TCA which i am the first member and mod of with our great leader Pawnmobilizer
Classes
i will address all the classes i use none that i dont
Assault- this is a great class for the epic assaults with a great primary to many nades which will help you to disable heavies and guards and blind your opponents so you can melee them into the ground the pistol i have found to be useless it haas barely any effect on people but combined with others camping can be better than a heavy and med camping
Support: this is a great class for the slaughter house and assault tactics 1 or 2 i have found great use in the +62 of healing a team mate in slaughterhouse while still killing with the powerful shotgun which is a very formidable enemy of the recon which would die in one well aimed hit the pistol i have never used due to the medium rate of fire for sg and high amno for this rate of fire the grenades have saved me countless times from heavies and guards which are a very formidable opponent for any class except mauler and the flash has gained me acess to flags and to bases to capture which you can do blind if you didnt know that because your enemy is blind for probably longer than you will be due to the range of the flash
HEAVY: i have capitalized the name of the heavy and i love my uber fatty his formidable gatling gun which can rip apart all classes with little effort and tree knife that will kill a recon in a single *SMASH* the pistol which can blow away other hevs that get in your way and the guard nades to blow them away BUT whatch out for the lancer he can kill you in two shots and can be rather annoying but your gatling is still superior if he is caught off guard he has more health from more body mass and will dominate a recon oriented game like ctf or assault i have found an interesting technique with this hefty boy if there is a assault or recon gunning you from one level up and right against the edge you run up and melee up that level and it will kill them which is very convieniet
Recon: this fiesty little beast can kill most with a two swipes of the knife this lil bugger can pester guards with there pistol but are advised to run away from due to there fast firing machine pistol these are very fast invisible beings and can out run most but watch out for that lancer that doesnt die at first and AVOID the heavy that is sitting motionless waiting for its prey like a snapping turtle and only attack him if he has low or no health and stick to the out skirts only going near what you have to to kill or to catch the flag which will earn you your most points as a recon
Mauler: this is a very good guard deterent and is a very physics based class using angles and range to your advantage by staying in the cover and hitting you opponent with all you can using the rather powerful grenade launcher which i have found really useful for running and shooting heavies althought the aiming of this weapon is kinda sketchy and you will need to prefect your skill before taking on a whole team on your own which isnt hard once you have achieved the mauler skillz to corner fire and damage through walls which is rather intersting due to the fact of it being a solid concrete wall
Lancer: this is a very fast moving quick strike class that is very formidable enemy to heavies and a very easy target for recons although it can be an easy target for good recons you can once initially hit run and turn and fire due to the same speed as recon you can normally kill them aslong as they dont switch weapons and gun you this is a very good class for assaults due to the high power gauss rifle killing a heavy in two shots and camp killing a whole team very easily as long as you have a trusty med to supply you with amno and the refill rate if timed rate can refill at exactly three shots and it refills three shots
CTF: this is a very enjoyable game which you can obtain alot of points and alot of kills in which most of the other players are focused on getting the flag you can kill them quiet easily while they ae busy trying to feebely take your flag which you can hold them back while killing thema great heavy camping level and a great recon level to go in behind the enemy lines take the flag poke the camping heavy and run back past your lines and score i have had great sucess at this game and was once an expert flag runner before the merger
Assault: this is a very fun game and i have become an expert at the blue team claying entrences and heavy camping the bases or medding for the heavy so we dont lose and become a disgrace red team is a different story a game of deception pistoling with recon to decoy while running around the back of the zone to capture it and make the other cry wondering what had hit them while out running them to the next zone so they are more confused than ever
Death Match: this has become my favorite match for clan wars this is a great match for heavy and a almost exactly what the assault class was made for running around the map and hitting people with flash bangs then meleeing them into the ground while they yell noob and hacker at you because you are so good this a match you were you will want to stay with your team and not run around solo dieing and feeding the other team this is a very epic game producing some of the greatest players known to pawn tactics one of the best tactics is a very simple tactic that most other games are based on like Gears of War...Flanking have your team camp and then run around the back of them with lancer mauler or heavy to trap them and kill them
In FFA this is a game of heavies vs recons almost the whole time it is a game of survival killing those near you and chasing down that fleeting recon who spent to much time wandering and walked a little to close to you so you turn and spray him down
SPEACIAL MAPS
THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE: this is a game of elites and padders alike just by playing in this 15.6 multiplier you are almost guranteed 1k points a game and if you get many kills and assist and healing you can get almost 10k + points which is a very epic game that very rarely happens this is a great map for supports as explained above by healing and gaining 56 points a heal while still killing with the powerful shotgun this is a great heavy round with the epicest fights known to all of pawn tactics
TRENCHES: this is a great map for getting your k/d up camping on the bottom left for blue team getting over 30+ kills a match with a lancer and a trusty med with you while red team tries to guard your lancer does there shileds in and continues to destroy there team
LOCKED INSIDE: this is a great clan war map with a very good setup making a full team death a guranteed loss of the game with a good recon on the other team this is also a good mauler match very close quarter and very simple angles to shoot the other team around
