My friend is trying to help me out, and attempting to putting pokemon red on my old ipod nano(2G). Turns out I need to downgrade for purposes of avoiding security.

Long story short; How the hell do I get to 1.3.1?

Step by step if possible please.. I'm not so great with computer things. :\

Yes. I have seen him playing it.

and excuse me. I meant to say 2G, not 1G.

edit: Found a video. The guy who made it is shaking and it's bad quality but you can see it is playing pokemon. http://de.truveo.com/iPod-Linux-Iboy-Pokemon-ROM-proof/id/1306264868
