Vista So Slow!!

Gawd, sorry if this is in the wrong section but, whenever i play Pawn Tactics on a Windows Vista Basic 2000? Lol, it always seems to make me have 8 or 3 FPS everytime DAMN time.

On my other computer which has a HECK and i mean...A LOT more data, it seems to work much faster. Lol Really. MUCH FASTER.


I've deleted everything that is not needed and now i am stuck. I only have around 7 programs left and i;m not sure hot to make it faster.

Run this (http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php) and post which processor you have, and the clock speed of it,the amount of installed memory, if it's DDR, DDR2, or DDR3.
And run this (http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=5756) to see if you have a virus, and post the logfile

Like bonk said, run a virus scan, and a spyware scan.

Delete anything you find of any risk, high, or low.


It can also depend on what your Vista is running on, 64bit or 32bit, as well as your amount of RAM.

Run a scan with UniBlue. I get rid of some unneeded files and programmes.

And post the Scan Results.
