Which is heavier, 16 ounces of gold, or 16 ounces of feathers?
The answer is not what the simple mind expects.

Gold itself is a very light substance. It's the stuff mixed with the gold that gives it it's solid look in chains and stuff.

The answer isn't that they're both the same.
Think about why I used 16 ounces, and not 1 pound.

O.o Never heard of that before...
s\Since I have no idea what pounds and ounces are, ill say that they both weigh the evuivalent of a hypothecal whale compared to a bouquet, minus the gravitational imbalance caused by the fluctuations in radiation.

fluid ounces?
If so, gold weighs more.
If not, they weigh the same.

The answer is the feathers.
The feathers because if you spread them out, there would be more gravity pulling on them.
I dunno my idea might be wrong, but I know my answer is right.
Also, there would be a lot more feathers then tiny pieces of gold.

Lol, tone.
Metals are measured in troy ounces, which have 12 ounces to a pound, instead of 16. Therefore, the gold is heavier because 16 ounces of gold is 4/3 of a pound, as opposed to 16 ounces of feathers, which is 1 pound.

Umm, no.
The force of gravity isnt affected by the volume/space something takes up.
for example, if you spread yourself out, would you have more mass?
And seasonal, I had no idea what you are saying since I dont know what ounces are.
I only learned about grams,kilograms ...
