The virus is Conflicker C and it was supposed to have a massive wave on April Fools but, that massive 2nd wave never happened so...

P.S i have not been paying much attention to this virus after April Fools so, if i have any wrong information past this then please reply.

*facepalm* 1) you wouldn't see anything except trying to go to certain security sites and 2) it spreads from infected thumb drives, the patch for conficker was made back in November but the infected computers can still spread it to new ones and its easiest way to spread is by a thumb drive. so do not let anyone stick there drive in your computer or do P2P.

Ok so what is conficker? conficker is an extremly well designed worm that is actually dormant atm for the most part, right now the most its doing is setting up a mail server and doing spam mail, and also giving you a pop up about buying new security software and asking for your credit card (which if you put it in, its transferd back and they have your creditcard now) now basicly other then those 2 small issues, conficker is turning your computer into a slave that is connecting to randomly generated websites looking for instructions, now secuirty analyst thought april first it would be set off, while in fact it only received instructions to start the spam mail. Conficker currently has infected OVER 10 million computers and that number grows every day. For now we just sit and wait.
