Um... I just found a virus on my comp, and it was my sister's fault for downloading a scam site. Right now I'm scanning with Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware. Is there one for Trojan and stuff? REPLY NAU.

Here's an image. (It's a hoax since its on a webpage)

Cant find it. :\

And the program my sister downloaded is Personal Antivirus.

Tell your sister to never download anything that appears as a pop up. I'm saying all things are bad in pop ups but most likely it's something that can harm your computer. I'm sure your anti virus program could possibly determine if there is a trojan(s). Also, the safest way to get an anti virus program is at a computer store such as Staples, OfficeMax, etc.

I downloaded AVG. :O
And it's still scanning.

And my sister gets convinced to download them when it's a pop-up.

I let one of my buddies on my laptop last night and I went to go check on
him and he was looking at a pr0n site, I decided what the hay, I did a little
virus scan..there ended up being like 3 trojans + some "Privacy Center"
thing on there, you couldn't cancel out of it or anything. It reminded me
of AntiVirus 2008. Same technique.

Okay.. thanks for your connection. But how do I remove it? >_>

I unistalled IE... LOL. It gives me pop-ups. :\

Step1
Visit your virus-scan software manufacturer's Web site and install any virus updates that are available. Then run the software. The software may not be able to delete the virus, but it may be able to identify it.
Step2
Search the Web for information regarding your specific virus by typing the name of the virus or its associated file into a search engine followed by the word "virus." For example, "Melissa virus," "BubbleBoy virus," etc.
Step3
Download and install any patches or other programs that will help you eliminate the virus. Or follow any instructions you find on deleting the virus manually.
Step4
Run another virus scan to make sure the virus has been dealt with properly.

I can't find it, it looks similar to AVG.
And it's called Personal Antivirus. I'll show screenie.

Note: That's not my IP, it's just a random one, they are trying to pretend.

DON'T TOUCH THAT!
It could be one of those malicious scanners

Download the trial version of that and run it.

If you seen the image on the 1st page, that's the one I got.

Thats all fake, thats the same thing as I got last night.
Tell your sister not to look at pr0n... lmao. My AV got
rid of it like nothing, its basically trying to get your passwords
and credit card numbers. It tells you that you have virus's and
says "Click here to unistall them" then it leads to a website where
you have to give your credit card # out... Best bet is to just
get a couple bucks and buy a friggen AV..

If you have ever had AntiVirus 2008 (which is a virus) this is like
a mini one of that, but not as effective.

Couple things I have to ask/say.
I see one suspicious item

Do you use Personal Antivirus?
-That is a rogue software
-Removal:
----End the process pav.exe
----Remove pav.exe from C:\program files\PAV\pav.exe
----Go up a folder and delete C:\program files\PAV\
----Delete the icon on desktop
----Reboot

I don't see anything else as bad.

This pav.exe is your problem.

After the scan of Trojan Hunter, it wouldn't remove it. :\

It said 'Would you like to buy Trojan Hunter and now remove the trojans?'

Follow this guide to remove it.

Oh thanks. Sadly, I had to unistall IE because of this pop-ups. :\ Oh well, bye IE, hello Safari. (lol rhymes).

lol, you can't uninstall IE, its not possible. Its like trying to remove Windows Media Player. Ya sure, you can remove Windows Media Player 9, 10, 11, whatever you have, but it will never truly be removed. You probably just uninstalled IE 7. You probably didnt completely remove IE from your computer. If you did, you'd be complaining about errors in all sorts of files.

I suggest downloading Eset NOD32 4 and scanning your system with that. It will remove those annoying popup Windows you get in Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer.

My IE got hi jacked by the virus, I read it's adware (Eggo's Guide).
I already used HiJackThis, but no one knows what to do. >_>
I even asked in BleepingComputer.

ya, that will fix it, but it has probably done some damage already that wont be repaired by deleting the files...

Do what Firstmate said, then tell us what happened.
if you need a hand, post back
