Latly I have seen all these updates for PT in the Announcements, And I was like WUT?
I am not trying to offend, but I really think Blank is favoring Pt over PG.:(

PT is a developing game, it is still in the refinement stage. In a couple years if he hasn't created another game, his attention will probably be distributed more evenly.

Blank patched the hacks. It's just, the hackers created a new Trainer like, right after he did that.

PT has had a nil number of security updates since it was very launched. There was a brief period when there were hackers and all sorts of chaos in PT. Over time though the hackers just lost interest and went off somewhere else. The game is still vulnerable as ever, the problems that had occurred earlier mostly happened because blank was stupid enough to post the shockwave file as a distribution "demo" for advertising purposes.

Tiles

I'll just list of the tiles in themes in this part of the section.

Special - A must in all maps. It has blue/red spawns, which are used for spawning the player. An artifact, for assaults. Used to target it, taking down the hp. Blue defends it, and red attacks. Ammo Crates, Very important resource. Pressing 'E' one it will refill their HP and Ammo for all guns.

Urban - A very popular theme, has 19 tiles. 1 ladder,8 solids, and 10 Walk through. The Box tiles are the most used. Because you can hide behind them. Considered camping

Outdoors - A fun outdoor theme. Great tiles for background. 6 tiles, 1 solid, 5 walk through.

Castle - An easy to use theme. Goes well with many others. 3 tiles, 1 solid, 1 ladder, 1 walk through.

Industrial - A commonly used theme. 12 Tiles in all. 1 ladder, 6 solids, 5 walk through.

Paintings - Completely different from the other tiles, featuring 3 paintings.

Jungle - Another great outdoor theme, and it's fun to use. 14 tiles,11 walk through, and 2 solids, and 1 ladder. A very decorative theme to use.

Space - A misty theme. 19 tiles, 10 walk through,7 solids, and 2 ladders

Canopy - Takes some time to get use to. But it can make a good map if you use it right. 17 tiles, 12 walk through, 1 ladder,4 solids.

Underwater - A very difficult theme to use. Doesn't go well with any other theme, i found 1 tile that goes with it. It's take awhile to master it. 26 tiles, 14 walk through, 3 ladders, 9 solids.

Volcano - Most tiles are F type, but has some very useful tiles. 22 Tiles, 15 Walk Through, 3 Ladders, 4 solids.


JunkYard - Goes extremely well with Crane. And some very useful tiles. 10 tiles, 5 Solids, 2 ladders, 3 walk through.

Crane - A fun and easy tile set to master. 17 tiles, 10 solids, 1 ladder, 6 Walk Through.
We've had the same map tiles for two years.

There are more things you can implement into PT than PG. PG is a totally deferent style of game, and one that is far harder to do a major update.

PG is not dying. Notice it's spring break. Not as many people are on. And also, it's the school year. After school is over PG will become more active.
Don't jump to conclusions.

a couple of reasons i think

In pawn tactics there are so many things to think about when updating. Clan wars problems: spamming battles, Not showing if you left or joined, kicking for battling certain clans.
And in beta: when the change that removed the scout and brought the specialist there was auto weapon changing so you could spam 1 and 2 with support and have an auto sg. BTW i got alot of points from that :D

but back to the topic. PT is more complex. More things to think about.
And its a better game xD <-- in my opinion

Because it aint hard to patch, and it aint hard to bypass, but Blank prefers to not spend 24 hours a day changing variables, as any sane human would.

Pawn is not dying.
PT has less room for newer updates than PG, I could name a million more differen't possible major updates for PG.
There are more things you can implement into PT than PG. PG is a totally deferent style of game, and one that is far harder to do a major update.

you were obviously not here last summer.
PT is at update 1.02? PG is at 1.09 probably once PT is at 1.07 or 8 we have more evenly updates.

Something like arab said, take PT as a new born baby. Of course Blank will have to pay more attention to it since it has recently been born. PG is like the older sibling, the older sibling has to be patience as Blank takes care of PT since it was recently born. If I were Blank I wouldn't even update PG since people complain so much.

The difference will balance out overtime.
But in the meantime, if you want some more changes, just suggest things in the suggestion forum. If you don't suggest things, what is Blank going to update?

PG doesnt really NEED an update, its fine as is. The problem is that the community WANT one. And mixing our forums together just rubs it in their face even more every time pt gets an update. The pg community is just jeleous that pt gets all the attention. The only reason pg wants updates so bad is because pt gets them :P

Cause PT needs it, its a bit more advanced with such things as splash and explosion. PG.. well new guns, and new maps are about the most you can hope for for updates, and hackers...well, they're rather good at breaking down computer laws, its what they do =P

The primary difference between Blank and Xgen is the fact that Xgen is a large corporation with money and a large force of workers while Blank and JP are a small group of people that develop the games on their own. I doubt they can muscle through a 3rd game.

I wouldnt doubt them, they have the script beast SharpY.

And Blank101 and JPillz are very good in designing stuff, so they could possibly muscle another game.

I've played PG twice in the past week and each time I heard players in chat say PT sucks.
