My ms is around the range of 250 and it WONT stop! Somebody please help me!

I was lagging in game so I cleared the cache and it got even worse. refreshed 5 times and everything, this has never happened

Your internet provider could be restricting your flow. Or pawn could just be really laggy today.

Get a new computer.. how old is your computer? My other comp is like 6 years old. I got it like on 2003. And it's still working. LUL. I just changed the hard drive.

Brand effing new! I asked DrunkTiger and he said he was having the same problem.

I have 4 gigs of ram...
dual core processor
windows xp
meh!

n its not like this has happened before, I think it's just pawns server.

Well I don't have the idea how you lag with a new computer..
Scan your comp, even though its new, virus are still leaking around interwebs.

lol I don't really get the point of the thread but I don't think 250 ms is that bad. 1 time when I was lagging like hheeeelll I had over 1000 ms but my comp didn't act different.
Right now my ms is around 150-200.

Pawn Forums is laggy lately, probably the forums since the server is expanding bigger and bigger.

I'm a mazer/map maker/fighter so yeah. Normally my ms is around 30-100. I thought it was only me because someone is trying to hack my comp >_> my comp found 3 virus's today and most clan sites I load are laggy as hell.

I have 78 ms right now FTW :p

I usually have over 300 ms and I can do PKs fine.

I didn't personally have any problem with Pawn's server, seemed to be working fine. It's probably just an application on your computer chewing up all your memory. Do a full system scan to check for any malware.

Also, try checking the Task Manager (Alt + Ctrl + Del) for any memory intensive programs. If you find any unwanted applications running in the background, just 'end-task' them.
Be cautious here though, make sure they are not important. Try rebooting too.

It could just be your Internet connection lagging a bit. Nothing you can really do about that, you'll just have to wait it out.
