An Idea!

I just came up with an amazing idea! What if, we could have a section in the forums where users would teach each other through making guides for everyone to read?
Oh, and another thing! What if the best guides could be chosen to be put into section on the website for permanent viewing? Oh wai-

For those of you who are completely new to the forums, there was a time where this luxury existed until Nazis stole it from us.

I assume you all know who I'm talking about.


Some of you may argue "OMG YOO JUS WAN GIDES BAK BECUZ UR STOPID FAYK GIDES WER REEL POPYOOLUR!!11! OMGWTFBBQ!" Well, that is untrue.
When I was a noob, (real account, idiots, this account has always been a noob) one of the first things I did was read some guides, and they helped hell of a lot. Don't believe they did anything?

Not all of my skills were self taught.

Now, we all know Chicky is far from the best player on Pawn, but it's a little bit of an accomplishment, and I would have never been able to do this without the help of the guides here, on the Pawngame website.

So, my suggestion Pawn? Bring back guides, and I don't mean that half-assed thread in the help forum, I mean the real guides forum.

Only like 45% of pawn users go to the Forums, so not many of them get to see the guids,forums,ect. So bring back the Guildes will be fail becasue... it i'll cause more lag since it's more memory for the server to keep, and barely anyone would even read the damn things becasue they don't use the forums.

There used to be a time where people would read them because they had their own tab to themselves. And as I said earlier in the guide, they helped me out when I was a little nub. Since when were forum topics a huge cause of lag? Combining PT and PG into the same website doesn't cause lag but all the sudden an extra forum topic is going to be the start of the apocalypse? "OH TEH NOES! DA GIDEZ SETCHIN IZ MAYKIN ME DYE! DAM JOO GIDEZ SETCHIN 4 MAYKIN MEH LAGZ!!1!!!1!" Give me a fricken break, it wouldn't cause any lag to the server.

Yes, it actualy would. Our server has to much stuff as it is, and having more things being stuffed into it's memory is bad for everyone. If we had not to many use-less things around, everyone would stop complaing. They could just go and delete all un-answered topics and delete all un-used account for 6 months, but that would take a very long time, unless a Admin were to do it. Sigh, just imagin it... a lag-free Pawn... To bad it's only a dream.

Go ahead and guess in a PM. Unless Bonk told you, you're probably wrong.
I never really had a popular account before this one.
Some people put a lot of time into their guides, and ever color coded it and all of this crap.
If someone blatantly copies someone's guide, the copy should be locked and/or deleted.

I made stupid fake ones. They got a little popular at one point though.
I'm for any type of guides, anyone should be able to put a guide in the guide section about whatever they want, not just the one's homop00ner approves.

The ones that really helped me though were the ones that gave you tactics for playing, one of my favorites was one about how to play well on jungle assault.

Bring back the guides. nau. when i first joined, i thought i would check the forums. i saw game guides, read a couple, and before i knew it, i was playing better than most star ranks. i knew about newb weapons, strengths and weaknesses of campers, map editing, so for gods sake, bring em back. when there back, i vote imnotanoob creates a guide of how to speak (or how he used to speak) like him xD. we all miss your colorfull vocabulary imnotanoob, come back to us =D
