I know that it changed from 50% to 10% for a reason, but I think a less drastic decrease would be fair. Possibly 20%, maybe 30%.

Using heavy and recon as an example:
Heavy's melee > Recon's Knife in range and damage.
Heavy's gun > Recon's gun in damage and firing rate.
Heavy has grenades.
Heavy's pistol = Recon's pistol (Recon stays almost invisible, but it has a higher cool down rate.

Since guard does not have a melee, it is much more fair.

I would prefer if damage was raised across the board vs heavy armour, but even if it was just vs heavy it would be a large improvement.

NOTE: I already know that recon was not meant to kill heavy, but I'm sorry, classes should be roughly equal. I don't expect and will probably never get complete equality, but at one point, enough is enough. If you are a recon playing a heavy who is not a total idiot, recon loses. Until this update, I didn't have a problem with the heavy class, so no, it's not just that i hate heavy. Hell, I use it every now and again.

Well Galin, I am going to have to disagree with you on this suggestion. The main purpose of decreasing the damage that Heavy melee has towards other Heavys is to promote the use of the Desert Eagle. If the melee were to be brought back, most Heavy 1 vs 1 combats would just end up in tie, which gets boring after a while.

Also, the Recon DOES in fact stand a chance against Heavys nowadays. Although their Knife power has been decreased exponentially, their MP5 is more than capable of giving a Heavy a run for their money.

All in all, I will have to disagree with you. I am a Heavy and Recon lover myself. They are both awesome classes, and right now, the balance between those 2 classes are rather balanced.

Galin, I know you are trying to achieve class equality, but the problem is, the recon way never meant to be a moderate class, it's an extremist. Maximizing its skills in one area and in exchange, gaining vulnerabilities in another. It's more like a doubled edged sword, you know?

well i agree and disagree. recon is supposed to have a weakness (heavy) but the whole 10% think is kinda rediculous. 20% would be perfect

No matter how you look at it, Heavy is like the Gaurd. Except Gaurd needs the Pistol to be AP bullets and Heavy dosen't a sheild.....

id have to say the knife could have a little more damage agenst the heavy, but the mp5 does good damage agenst a heavy

ehhhh I dunno. I would rather see the Guards pistol be improved to be as good as that of the heavy.
