View Full Version : IDEA Class Suggestion - Sharp Shooter

I dug this class up from an old file I saved.

Sharpshooter

Armour: Light
Special: N/A

--Primary Weapon--
[Weapon]: Shock Rifle
[Damage]: 30
[Cool Down]: 1000
[Ammo]: 20
[Projectile Type]: Armor Piercing.
[Extra Information]: The Shock Rifle when hits opponents stops them from moving or shooting for .50 of a second.



--Secondary Weapon--

Link Gun
[Weapon]: Link Gun
[Damage]: 40
[Cool Down]: 750
[Ammo]: 20
[Projectile Type]: Armor Piercing.
[Extra Information]: If the Link gun hits an enemy, it will hit resulting damage to other enemies in a 2 tile radius. Causing half the amount of damage on every second target. It is able to hit 3 enemies at once.


--Auxilleries--

Laser Tripmine
[Weapon]: Laser Tripmine
[Damage]: 100
[Ammo]: 2
[Projectile Type]: Explosive
[Extra Information]: This is set against a wall, and a Red Trip Line appears. If the trip line is set off the Mine will blow up with the area of damage as the Basic Frag Grenade.


Knockout Charge
[Weapon]: Knockout Charge
[Damage]: N/A
[Ammo]: 2
[Projectile Type]: Explosive
[Extra Information]: This charge is set onto ground. When impacted by this charge, your screen dims to a deep black, you are completely unable to move or attack for 2 seconds, and 50% of your stamina bar is blown off. Like claymores, this charge can only be detonated by anyone who walks upon it.

Well, I am thinking that the secondary weapon is even more powerful than the main weapon. You should take a look into that issue.


Well, another thing about the trip mine, you said that as long as something crosses the line, it will detonate the mine. Does this apply to grenades and flashbangs?


So, overall, this class is a very unique class, capable of a stunning attack which allows you to get to upper levels for cover or find a chance to escape from a losing battle. I suggest you take out the secondary weapon's ability as it really overpowers that particular weapon.

im starting to get annoyed with all the making up weapons in this game, the gauss rifle started it but its used in some other games and isnt very far fetched. But really, is this a sci fi game or a military game?

Secondly, when i saw this thread i thought you were gonna attempt at bringing back an improved scout class. That is something i would like to see happen

Primary: L96 Arctic warfare
damage: 100
ammo type: normal (not piercing)
slow rate of fire

Secondary: Raging Bull (revolver)
dammage: 17
relatively slow rate of fire

Claymores
can be taken out with grenades and do one shot kills to anyone who walks on them

Knive
80 damage

Special: Cammoflage
Completely invisible when standing still and somewhat cammoflaged when moving

thats what i think should happen

What to do when bullets end? Primary and second weapon order is good, its not only damage which defines that. I dont think that there should be weapons like that link gun. Its not overpowered...

Let me state this once, the scout is not coming back in any way, shape or form.

Also another thing worth mentioning is teh overall idea for the gauss rifle came from an idea DeathLancer mentioned.

As for the fact of making up weapons, true that this happens, but mine are pre-made from other games and I fill in the stats. >.> Seriously the idea you gave is quite sad...

B. there isnt anything more sad than making up weapons and also the name sucks, stick with your little shock trooper BS.

How do I say this nicely, the scout itself was a semi-fail class. Overall it lacked many things.

As for this starwars thing... I haven't watched a whole 20 minutes of it... Except number 3 saw the whole thing... It was eh, but honestly I don't like starwars that much.

Oh and the idea of being able to create your own classes with original ideas, is well what this game is based on.

You know what? Scout is GONE. GONE. THere is NOTHING you can do for it. Let it fly. Up a Poll due to new suggestion guidlines?BTW,one question. For the link gun,does damage apply to Gaurd's that have sheilds up?

I like the idea of the class, I think it running out of amo is a good thing.
But it would/will take a while to add all those new things you have, like the stun effects.
