Well because this is highly needed here, a whole thread about padding.
What is padding
Gaining points through an illegitimate way, in which requires no skill, as commonly involves no other competition.
Can I get banned for padding?
Yes you can, and will get banned for padding if you are caught. As for how long you are banned for depends on who bans you, so far bans have been issued from 1 day to 30 days, so it is a good idea to be safer then sorry.
Types of padders
There are 3 ways people can pad, and it groups them together.
The most common type of padders are people who go to an empty Capture the Flag room and run flags back and forth receiving at the end of a game usually a score of 350.
The second type are players who go to join empty Assault rooms until they are on the red team and go through capturing all of the zones collecting 50 points per zone.
The third type of padders are those who strive for higher Kill, Death ratios. They usually work alone in empty rooms, using two tabs, using there main account to kill a junk/random account.
Reporting a padder
Firstly DO NOT create a thread about it. When reporting a padder pm a moderator, usually one that is currently online. When you do decide to message a moderator about a padder provide sufficient evidence as to them paddies.
Getting Evidence
The only decisive way to have evidence of a padder is to have several screenshots of final in game scores similar to; http://i42.tinypic.com/egqtn6.png
Now don't merely get one screen shot of a padder to get them banned, as usually if you are able to produce 3-4 shows more compelling evidence and will hopefully result in a ban.

To ultimately stop all the threads that are being spammed about padders, considering how 90% still show no proof of padding.
