I realize that you guys aren't happy about the move, and believe me, most of us are not either. However, there is no going back now, so it's time to accept the changes and roll with it.
You need to look at the positives of switching to these forums:
1) You have active moderators. At any given time during the day, there will most likely be at least a couple of active mods on. Usually more. You won't have to deal with the incessant spam, flaming, and non-stop trolling. Rules are actually enforced here.
2) This forum is far more advanced than a phpbb forum like the one PT had.
3) You're joining a fairly active forum. Combining the users of both games leads to a large number of active users - which means more activity on the forums.
To my understanding, the forum threads and posts should be transferred to these forums, so hopefully, your post counts and whatnot will be transferred as well. If not, well, you got a hell of a lot of threads to post on here.

Agreed, being very unpleased by this change. I can say that we must make compromises for the good of PAWN Studios in the long run.

It's going to take a while for it to go through, though..
Well, I like the way you put everything down, and agree with it, so hopefully there is no trouble.

I dont really see whats so bad.
We dont have too look at too much russian porn/spam anymore.
The forums arent dead here.
I guess ill probably get used to it.
Flaming of PT users will been enforced now more than ever. Ingame, on forums, and on IRC.
If you have a problem with a player, you may send a mod a private message stating your case.
If you simply do not like the move, or do not like one of the games, keep it to yourself.

I see what you mean, I wouldn't want to look at Russian porn either. :(
And our forums were slowing down a bit - but with all these new players, they should pick right back up now.

ill miss those porn spammers.......
jk
I'm glad the forums were merged, PT forums were low quality and I never could really get into posting on them.
Hopefully PT players and PG players will get along. I will be keeping an eye out for abuse. This goes for the PT players as well as the PG.
Have fun!

In all honesty, I KNOW the move was for the best, but it's so damn annoying personally.

I admit I'll miss those forums, but this is great too.
I joined PT around July. Then stayed until about December.
July through December was the true glory period of PT, when the Scout was still living proud, and great clans like URO were dominant.

What I'm pissed off about is the fact that I had an account, asher, on PT and it got deleted when the move happened and now I can't make another account called asher because somebody already has it on PG. The person who has asher on PG has been inactive for over 2 years, has 0 points and has made 0 posts on the forums. Is it really fair that I, who go on every day and was very active on the old PT forums, should lose my account to somebody who hasn't played in over 2 years?
I agree with what blank's idea is, to unify PG, PT and forums accounts, but if all the PT accounts are going to be deleted it's only fair the PG accounts are, too, meaning that the active people can get the accounts they want.
Ok this is a good idea, and I understand why he did it, but WHY NOW?? He could have waited two weeks or something!!@!!11 I guess he looked on the pt forums and saw me and thought: HAH let's ruin that man's plans and **** him off.
I was planning something big over there, was halfways through the plan and then he merges the forums and DELETES EVRY POSTS! Won't work again either for secret reasons >:@
Ok sorry, but I just had to express my anger. I'm not mad at pg or anyone who plays it, just at blank for choosing the date he did -.- It's almost out of the system now. Good thread too. I hope as many as possible read this

I think this is a great change. PT and PG will be less likley to flame.

Well, I started on PG, so I know the PG rules. And I never used PT forums. So it doesn't matter much. BUT COME ON!!! RANK RESETS suck.

I actually don't mind the change...
It's exactly like life.
We must live life and adapt to the changes that's in store for us all. I'm honestly happy with the merge. :3
We actually seem to be doing quite fine with PG/PT relations. I expected a massive flame fest and heavy anti-PT resentment, but it has seemed to die down since the last time I have been here.

Hey Klo!>.> My sexy ninja lover.
But the a focus of a game it to draw ourselves away from reality.
But, yes I agree the move is a good thing.

Well, after a week in these forums where PG an PG users co-exist, I have noticed that there really isn't much flaming or swearing at all. In fact, I personally feel that the PG and PT members have learned to get along much better through this change.
One of the only 2 things I resent about this update is the lagging of the forums. I honestly liked the PT forums before. It was simple, straightforward, and was very fast.
(Of course, the other thing I miss is the Russian Pornography. You never get old of that.)

#4 all of the above = more fun
