[Pawn Tactics] Update - 1.01.01

Game Changes:

-Updated the game to be compatible with the new site
-Lancer has 1 flashbang now
-Close range weapons have been lowered from 50% damage to heavy armor to 10% damage
-Explosive weapons have been lowered from 50% damage to heavy armor to 20% damage
-6 month old accounts will no longer be deleted
-Recon MP5 damage increased to 14 from 11
-The lobby games list will now auto-scroll to show games at your skill level
-The map testing feature will now automatically trim away excess whitespace
-Increased the Lancer's Gauss Rifle damage to 60 from 50

Bug Fixes:

-During game loads the back button could enable quick play users to get into the lobby - this has been fixed
-Fixed a bug in which players would not move the round end screen when a round ended

Blank101 because Pawn decided to create Pawn tactics no one will play regular Pawn game anymore, and i have told some of my friends about it, so can you please try to keep people playing Pawn

i hate this. Recons get owned by heavy. heavy melee cant kill other heavys. So much recon gunning. and the ranks were reset. but thanks for the new map

The only thing I don't like about this update is the fact that Recon Knife's are no longer effective against Guards and Heavys. Before, at least Recons had a fighting chance against those pesky classes, but now, ugh...

Dude they're working on moving all of the data from the old PT server look at the change of scenery post, it says it in there

Also i think its stupid that now we have so many noobs from pawn classic coming and playing tactics. We had our own different culture there over at pawn studios and now its being blended with the pawn players. Im not liking the move. Also the new clan system. I'm rejoining PT after being away since the specialist class opened so this might be fairly old, but i dont like how you have to be ranked 100000 to start a clan. That eliminated the possibility for noob clans and private groups wth just your friends. A clan isnt just for being the best of the best. Those are my thoughts on the news. This is ridiculous... Why give this update to heavies? First of all, heavies don't need this since they have melee and a ridiculously powerful minigun which can kill recons in something like 240ms and the recon mp5's damage has been increased which means more recon-gunners meaning a lot more lag.

I appreciate that this sort of update was needed for the Guardian, but why not just add the heavy armour melee defence to only Guardians with shields up? That would make it a LOT fairer. TBH the only reason I can see for these updates is so that all the newbies coming across from PG who can't play the game will have a class that won't get raped by all the PT pros... For the PT pros themselves it's awful, even for people who use heavy by decreasing the amount of skill needed to use the Heavy class (from about 2% to about 0.1%) it decreases the respect they get for being pros at Heavy.

Also, why was this news update not even put onto the news section? Is PT not even important enough for that anymore?

Ummm, Shuichi, whatever your CURRENT forums user name and password is, that is your In-Game user name and password as well. Hope this helps. By the way, post this in the Help section next time.

pawn tactics is a realy fun game and i know its down for a long time but befor its fully up and working can you put the sniper class back in there cause it killes every thing in 2 hits( every thing else 1-2) so i want you to put it back along with all the origanal maps as well with these still here. The next thing is that i want u to return the required score to make a clan back to the origanal setting which used to be 5,000 but it changed when this pawn tactics was put onto this site, and the next and final thing is that should be added to the recon class and its flash grenades cause they are using stealth and what is stealthy a stupid sub-machine gun no it should be a silenced rifle and in conclusion I'd like to see some of my recomendations taken seriosly.

I am mad that my account was deleted i was a high rank then you just delete me what the hay. I haven't been on for a little while then I get on and bam no more guy that is good and people respect more then a guest or noob.
