I need smart peoples to answer these questions. People who actually understand economics.
I need to "interview" two people (I don't care how many people post on here) and please, if you do post your answers to these questions give me your first name as I'm required to name whom I "interviewed".

1: Is studying economics is important and why or why not.

2: How can understanding economics benefit you as you prepare for life?

3: Do you think understanding the economy is more important now than it was 20, 30, 50 years ago?

1: Is studying economics is important and why or why not. Yes, studying economcis is very important. Studying this will help in the future with money problems, jobs, etc. etc.

2: How can understanding economics benefit you as you prepare for life?
Isn't that the same as #1 in a way?

3: Do you think understanding the economy is more important now than it was 20, 30, 50 years ago?
I have no clue for this one, I guess, I don't know how to explain.

1: Is studying economics is important and why or why not.

Yes it is. It is important for people to know the basic fundamentals of the Economic process in the American Economy because ignorance is a deterrent for the advancement of the country and the human race.

2: How can understanding economics benefit you as you prepare for life?

It can benefit you since you will be able to interpret the stock market with ease and can, with a little luck, make money in the stock market. Even if you don't lay the market, knowing how the economy works can be the difference between losing 500 and 5,000,000 dollars.

3: Do you think understanding the economy is more important now than it was 20, 30, 50 years ago?

I think it is just as important in 1959 as it is in 2009, money is money, no matter what year you go to, people will want to know how it can be used to their greatest benefit.
