How to get people to join clans

Hey, and I wanted to know how to get people to join your clans. Is advertising in-game allowed? No one has joined my clan, so I want to know how to get people to. Please help!

Below the help section is a section called 'Clans' in that section you can post your clan and have people join it.
If you mean advertising it within the chatroom yes that is ok but just dont spam the chat about your guild or you will be infracted

Erm... Omni's correct by the most part.
But you could put links into signatures/user bars that you make or get from other people, and show the clan off that way to attract more people to join.

A few things...

1) Be a member of a clan or more for a while to get the feel for how a clan "works"
2) When you do decide to create a clan make sure you have at least 5 people who you can trust to be active before you even create the thread.
3) Use a zetaboards or invisionfree site. If you don't know how to set one up, make sure someone in your clan does.
4) As far as recruiting goes, the best way is to make a private chat with your clan name ie.. "JoinTTTClan"
Additionally, you can pm people in game and ask them to join your clan. It is usually best to have someone higher ranked then the player you are trying to recruit ask them to join.
