I'm VERY new to graphics, and I was wondering if you guys could tell me how to get a render like this... http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pos=-22980 and put something else behind it....

I wouldn't put that behind it. But I was just using them both as examples.
Also how do you get c4ds on a render?and were from?

it tells you where to download gimp. which is what you need to do what your asking. to get that render you need to make an account at planet renders so that you can download the render with out it having a black background. don't wory about c4ds until you have gimp and know the basics
