I need a program that is free and is similar to gimp and MS paint. I am looking to make new characters for a project at school and the figures must be 2D and I am want them to look like pawn characters please links to downloads only.

Download it and it's for free. Easy to use, just need to get better at it.

Really there is no substitute for Gimp.... you just need to get better at using it

You can you PhotoShop for a free 30 day trial if you want that.
