GIMP Download Help

I am going to Dowload GIMP.I download the GTK+ file and save it to my desktop.I then download the GIMP file but when I go to open up GIMP it says I never have downloaded GTK+?


What is wrong and how can I Download it?

WHen I hit Download it takes me to sourceforge.net Is that where i am supposed to go?



Finally.My Firewall wasn't letting the automatic GIMP installer run.

umm, possible you somehow downloaded the mac version?

it was well over a year ago i downloaded gimp so i dont remember too much about it. maybe try downloading again

Make sure you got it from nowhere but http://gimp.org (http://gimp.org/)
If you didn't that may be what's going wrong.

I Hit Downloads.Then I Hit GIMP for Windows 2000 or higher and it takes me to sourceforge.net to download it.Wait I'll Take Screenies

I click Download GIMP 2.6.4-Installer for Windows 2000 or Higher

I go here and download gimp and GTK+ but it doesn't work http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=121075

Can anybody help me
